Consistency is the king. I have done a bachelor's in Commerce and worked as an accountant Later I lost interest in those fields and looked into data analyst career. It is very hard to get into this field from any background Unless you have some experience. I kept learning and kept applying , faced a tonnes of rejections (literally) changed different strategies in applying and finally made it. So keep on studying and make some practical knowledge by doing many projects. You will definitely become a data analyst.

Aewsome content many KZbin channels dont even address the code interpreter replacing data analyst. But ur take on the data analyst 2.0 is really good. It will help you to an extent because if they are looking for say Python data analyst then being a web programmer you know the fundamentals of the programming. SQL is another important skill for data analyst and I assume you will have upper hand there too. Note that many data analyst jobs do not require to have a Python knowledge so if a specific job requires Power BI, Tableau etc then obvious you have to prove your skills in those areas.

I understand. Out of 10 jobs may be 7 are recruiting experienced candidates but there are fresher jobs available. I have come across many recent examples where freshers have got jobs. As I said in the video, as of nov 2023, the market is a bit weak but this will not stay like this for ever. the best thing one can do is prepare with discipline and when market comes back up you will be the one to get hired immediately.

I have a 70+ people company (AtliQ Technologies) and we work on client projects. I also have a strong 12+ years of experience in the DATA industry. In any case, you have two options, (1) Verify that research by going to job portals, searching for job titles, and verifying it yourself, check all LinkedIn profiles, and interviews of REAL people (in video description), and if necessary talk to them as well (they are all nice people and most likely will respond to your message) (2) Do nothing with an assumption that an XYZ person is trying to sell their course. Whatever you decide to do, I think you will agree with one point at least which is "Your opinion and views (positive or negative) will impact you more than anybody else"

You can build BI dashboards for your student's performance and other student analytics. Also build some analytics projects in mechanical engineering domain and add a section in your resume called "Project Experience". Here you can mention all those projects. There are many folks in the banking domain who are moving to a data analyst career (in banking domain). I would suggest you don't worry about Python. Instead learn a BI tool (e.g. Power BI). In youtube we have free sales insights playlist, please do that first and then make a similar dashboard for a banking problem.

It is not like if you want to do coding then don't go for data analyst. My point in the video is that there are jobs where even if you don't know coding, you can still work as a data analyst. You need to give it a try. To improve communication just google "Toastmasters" and see if you can find any local chapter which you can attend and improve english. The domain knowledge is something you can acquire with genuine curiosity and hard work. It is not a rocket science. Also follow channels such as ThinkSchool where they post cases studies on various business related topics.
