Livonia is the historical name of the area of present day Latvia and southern Estonia. At the time (17th century) part of greater Sweden.

As a returning player from the mod and original steam days of the standalone, THIS! So much this... and more dynamic events like the survivor camp and bandit assaults. Unfortunately, bohemia want the PvP crowd, not the original fans so you won't ever get what you said, or what I said either ever again :( All we are going to get now is more and more weapons to appease the youtubers, like you see here. They care not about building, or survival, or trying to simulate what it would actually be like in that situation, they just want killing its much easier and quicker to do when you have TERRIBLE coders who can't admit they can't do the job (( if im wrong, vehicles would have been fixed in 2017, not STILL busted, but here is ANOTHER update full of weapons that were in it from launch, that got cut and reput back in to make you think they are doing something -_- )).

Do you play on PC? Because I know that on PS4 I consider the game to be unplayable way too often. Getting hit by invisible zombies, Invincible zombies, items disappearing from Inventory’s, guns not working, bullets that don’t actually do anything. But hey at least they fixed voip. I personally would not buy this map, it looks cool but at the same time I had stuck around for years when my friends had already given up on the game to only be disappointed with how long it took for them to have a stable game. The overwhelming majority of buildings on the Livonia map are nothing more than slightly updated, ported.... generic versions from Arma 2. Most of these buildings are in Chernarus. We were playing in and around these buildings 10 years ago. There's no excuse for such generic copy and paste crap while charging $14 for it. They couldn't even bother to color the buildings differently for this map.

Yeah, there seem to be slots in my inventory that dont allow things to be placed there at times. Sometimes it stops me from looting, but when i drag it to a different space in my inventory it actually goes in. Even relogging doesn't always fix the problem.

After a bit more playtime, it seems to help to drag things from vicinity to your hands first, then you can put them in your inventory.

@@ayeejaayy5848 The core gameplay was plagued with hackers, griefers and broken mechanics that made the game almost unplayable sometimes. However there were times when the game showed what it really had to offer which was really appealing and fun. The issue was that the devs promised that they would fix the issues and add more to the game. It was in "Alpha" so we believed them. Thing was that was 5 years ago. Since then they have maybe added/fixed half of what has been promised with pitiful excuses for why they couldn't do anything earlier. They have in the past shit all over the community when we would ask were the promised fixes were coming. Not gonna support a development team that treats their community that way.

I'm on console and it ain't worth it all, bought it, logged on and was immediately disappointed when I came across my first town. In terms of terrain design it's better than cherno but that's all this map has going for it, other than that it's reused assets thrown about on a slightly better terrain. If their next map has the same assets from Cherno then I won't be buying, hate when devs release dlc that is only slightly different from the main game.

Nothing unique about it, less towns, easier to get lost. Way too open, too many forests. Very buggy and easy to run out of the map if you have no clue where you’re going. I’d recommend saving the $16 for now

You should probably know the game IS a hardcore survival experience if you play on those servers that take away unlimited stamina, food can spawns, etc. They are the servers I enjoy, because I often die to the elements and zombies vs. People with guns.

I have the same issue. As well as the game freezing all the time and can’t even load in sometimes. Oh and god forbid you go over 40 kmh in a car, the game with totally freeze and when it unfreezes you’ll see your car is totaled and you’re probably dead. Game is so terribly buggy I’m pissed I paid $55 for it. Hell I’d be pissed if I paid $30 for it

@@Babaloomi Dude they dont need donations of money they have plenty apperently DayZ on ps4 sold like fuckin hotcakes. They also had multiple games in early access not sure the status on take on mars, they make plenty of money with the dlc from arma 3 fuckin hell. The last thing they need is to re use the same shit and ask for money again. It is modders who are sorting out the dayz and arma and giving them some thing worth playing. What arma does is say heres a thing you do all the fuckin work and pay for it.

@@irishmusicc If most video games do in fact reuse assets then they do it in a way that isn't obvious. I logged on to livonia for the first time and when I came across my first town I was immediately let down by the reuse of assets that were so blatantly obvious, the only real difference between this map and Cherno is the size and layout of the terrain, other than that it's the same bs. If their next paid dlc has the same assets I seen in cherno then I personally will not be buying

I can agree with most statements of them being a small company and needing the funds for future content. however given the still very prevalent duping problem who would really want to spend money on something where there is a high chance of not being able to find anything good. ie high tier weapons/food. only takes a few to ruin the experience for everyone..

A whole new map? What's new other than the design of the terrain? It's all the same assets with only one or two new ruined building types, I regret paying 15 Euro for Livonia, yeah it's better designed than Cherno but that's it, nothing is new.
