Is Deimos really a bad dude... Okay yeah he is but what of his philosophy?
We will talk about his true objective and goal. He is a mastermind both in combat and psychological tactics.

Deimos feels like a more proper operator than a lot of the new cast Sure the new guys may have cool gadgets, or abilities But, out of all of them, Deimos has the experience and instinct I think he would be able to get along rather well with Ash, Thatcher, Caveira, Kapkan, Thermite, Bandit, Mute, Montagne, Blitz, Fuze, Buck, Maverick, IQ, Capitao, Zero, Zofia- who all have rather practical and simple abilities, and/or would probably be able to handle themselves in combat well I think he wouldn't really like Oryx, Doc, Glaz, Lion, Dokkaebi, Iana - whose abilities are either a crutch that defines the operator (without it their abilities are really hindered), are impractical in proper combat (for example, you can't heal a headshot), or would just get themselves shot and would be a hinderance to the team

That’s a great way to look at it! Operators that can handle themselves without their abilities is a pretty incredible feat, in the infantry we often have to make do with what we got and still get the mission done. Really test resolve and willpower!

I feel like he killed Harry as a way to remove weakness from Rainbow, as it was Harry who started the tournament shenanigans. That explains why Deimos said Harry disgraced his unit. In the Deadly Omen comic, Ash at the end talks to Deimos and says she felt just like him when Harry took control of Rainbow, she didn’t see the logic in him being the leader when Rainbow needed to be the apex unit Deimos refers to them as. Maybe this year we will see Deimos act like a drill sergeant to Rainbow and make the squads stronger by drilling them relentlessly. Or maybe he will escape with the help of Keres Legion and play cat and mouse games around the world with Rainbow

I have this weird mental thing where I consider all attackers good guys and defenders the bad guys, because the defenders are trying to set off a chemical attack.

imo, deimos is a hero to the R6 players who miss the old days, and a villain to ubisoft

took the words right out of my mouth. I really hope killing harry and adding a "villain" for the first time to R6, is a step in the right direction. Ffs, at least stop with the anime customization for the ops. R6 vegas and vegas 2 were so metal. Playing it coop was on another level.

Honestly I main this dude now just cause of his logic pertaining to R6. I still play and have fun with the game but something’s different it’s not like it used to be anyone from the early years of siege can say that it’s just got different feel. I miss the white masks

fisher isnt a veteran of rainbow! he worked for the CIA and third echelon! hes only at rainbow because harry invited him to be an instructor because he was being hunted by someone!

You did not mention that with Gabriel Novak that the reason he was fed up with rainbow was because of Bishop covering for him constantly when he screwed up, never letting Gabriel take responsibility yes John Clark wanted Gabriel Novak out of rainbow and it was indeed Logan Keller, who received the team leadership of bravo team. Which is something you left out which is what Gabriel wanted and it’s why Gabriel went on the warpath to kill all those rainbow operatives. Echo team,kan,Sharon was all payback to hurt rainbow and then selling their information on the black market of all the operatives. Now Deimos is pissed off and yes, he killed six. Because the unit he wants was a part of that was the most prestige and deadly unit. Is now a laughing stock mockery of what used to be rainbow. I mean, and when you read the comic he talks to Ash and makes it clear that he’s willing to help them get the information they want, but he has to go into the field with them only time will tell exactly what it happened in the next comic. I mean when you think about it, he’s messing around with team making them really question each other and even Mira said we need a six. Harry said he was teaching them to lead themselves I think it possible that whoever is Deimos higher ups could lead to Deimos be back on rainbow for a little bit I mean fenrir defected and in the cinematic he looks at the camera and says isn’t anyone gonna welcome me back. Pushing towards idea that he could join them but on an basis that everything gets turned back to how rainbow used to be or and this is my theory he convinces ash that they should be a more brutal unit That does not matter what happens to innocent life while in the field. My uncle served in Vietnam told me and the time of war there’s no such thing as rules of engagement. You and the story and civilians get caught in the crossfire so be it. And sometimes he ordered kill innocent lives. But as he told me, this was during the SARS pandemic back then. In the military didn’t want any infected spreading it. But I digress he wants Ash to think just like him and wants rainbow to be just like how he was when the unit was around. So turning them into stone, cold, blooded killers that will not stop achieving their objective even if it means a lot of a teammate or the loss of life. But who knows.
