mystical penguin3000 +4 to your mid range jumper on HOF isn’t that helpful if you have a 88 mid range as it is. It depends on your build of course but this badge isn’t helpful to certain builds at all.

mystical penguin3000 It would almost be no point in even using the badge. You can green everything if you time it right at an 88 attribute. With you having a 95 mid range bumping it up to 99 wouldn’t be too beneficial in my opinion.

@@tntsection1201 That's not how it works. The badge doesn't raise your midrange rating. When you are shooting while moving, 2K adds a penalty to your shot. Difficult shots simply reduces the penalty, which in the past was almost zero on HOF. Now they nerfed HOF so there will still be a penalty, and nerfed the distance where it's effective. But it's still working. When I do a midrange pull up, HOF compared to no badge is a big difference. You just have to take the shot closer than before. Only those cheesy deep fadeaways are gone. And let's not forget hop jumpers, stepbacks, any moving shot - difficult shots is still crucial for those! So the badge is far from useless. It just depends on how you play

@@TonyoAudible if you read the difficult shots badge description it says boost shot percentage on pull up jumpers, spin jumpers, stepbacks, and any other shot that you create for yourself . If you have a 90+ shot rating and can hit wide open stand still shots those are considered high percent shots . But as soon as you take 1 dribble and go for a shot that is when 2k consider it to be a off the dribble pull up jumper or a " difficult shot " The game is based off badges this year and not so much rating

Info from a 2K dev: Difficult Shots only helps on contested moving mid range shots. Also my own test shows Difficult Shots on HOF does not improve wide open moving shots. so this is like the deadeye badge but moving shots version.

Equip the badge at each level and then play a mycareer game. Go to game stats and click on your name with R3. You can then verify these results for yourself by checking your IN GAME attributes by pressing the right or left bumper

That is ridiculous. This basically kills shot creators purpose. That means a Pure Sharp with no difficult shots has a better chance of hitting off the dribbles than say a PlaySharp with it on HOF.
