But given the mini critters were still able to access his insides through that opening... IDK. There's got to be something that we're missing; something else had to have been keeping him alive, otherwise he'd almost certainly have died within a few days.

while i agree that its a key detail when Dogday's eyes regain their pupils i doubt its because he's being controlled. looking at each of the critter's designs all their eyes are black with white pupils. Therefore this is also shared by the Bigger Bodies Initiative Versions. Also due to the angry sound to the scream i think it belongs to the Smaller Critters controlling Dogday.

I think it's more likely that the Prototype sent the mini critters and the red smoke after Kissy Missy. I actually would find it hard to believe it could be Dogday. The screaming we hear going down the elevator is actually Kissy's. Her scream is a pitched up version of Huggy's kill scream, and it makes sense since they're two sides of the same coin when it comes to similarities. But all of the stomping you hear, I think it could've been a collection of Kissy's and something else. So, even though Dogday is still probably alive and in pain from the possession, it feels less likely that he's Kissy's attacker. There is still a chance that he could've still been possessed and crawled all the way back up and out of the Playhouse, but that I feel would take some time and navigation to get out. In terms of their eyes, I think that you're very right about how they look and how they only seem to show up once one of the Bigger Bodies have been possessed. But at the same time, for Catnap specifically, like you said, could've been a design choice. When we see the Smiling Critter short cartoon, they all have white eyes, but there is a slight difference between their cartoon eyes, verses how they look irl. Instead of the eyes being fully white, the irl ones have black dots in the middle. It is highly likely that you could be right about Catnap being possessed, but there is doubt in me thinking that he's not, and is likely helping the Prototype regardless, of his own free will. I whole heartedly believe that Dogday is still alive after he chases us onto the lift. His body never gets crushed by the door, like how we see Ms. Delight. And that loud screech we hear from him, was more likely to be the screams of the little critters still inside of him. They're all afraid of Catnap, and since they were unable to catch us, they scream in anguish. They're afraid of Catnap and the Prototype after all, and they want to continue feasting, but they can't do that if they get in trouble. After we escape Dogday, I believe that there's a chance that the little critters will vacate Dogday's body and go back to Catnap, or hide from Catnap. Thus leaving Dogday behind to continue suffering on the floor. At this point he'd be technically free to go where ever he wants. No longer tied up with belts in his cellar. Also, the fact that Dogday was STILL alive, even after Catnap tore his legs off (for what could've been quite a few years), with the help of a belt tightly sintched around his waist to keep his most vital organs secure inside of him, there's a chance regardless that he could still be alive, even after the critters crawled into what was left of his body. The Bigger Body toys and even the other smaller toys are so much more durable than us, the player. So, it wouldn't be too much a stretch to think that Dogday would survive the possession.

One question: how do you think the Prototype will work as a final boss? We’re talking about a mechanical clawed hand that is using dead toys to build a body of its own. Also, when you see the shrine, Ollie says “if you think that was scary, wait till you see the real thing”, which is telling me that the final version is probably far worse than what we saw from the shrine. But in all seriousness, we know that a scary look isn’t gonna be enough. We need to know whether or not the Prototype would be a menacing final boss or if the mechanics will take away the scare factor. Our game relies on being able to live up to its own hype..

I feel like Bobby Bearhug _might_ appear in Chapter 4 with Dogday, as she also dosen't have a scream at the end of her recording. I think she isn't in Chapter 3 because one friend just became a cultist, another is in half and the rest are dead. Picky Piggy might also appear as an antagonis, but not Bubba, Hoppy ect, as they're very dead. 100%.

That's an interesting theory. His controlled body could have dragged itself outside to attack Kissy Missy, but I don’t believe he is alive anymore. Perhaps when given time some toys managed to unlock key memories

I don't think that dog day attacked kissy missy. If you listen carefully, you hear the same noise of the jumpscare of huggy wuggy in Chapter 1, so i think that it was huggy wuggy or it was the prototype

I'm sorry but tbh even if dogday is alive and stuff have we all forgotten that these kids or whatever they were, adults or children, aren't they already dead?... like I think at the end our player might only be and one survive but I might be wrong but poppy and the others I feel like all these toys might die at some point but even if dogday is alive I think it's just better to put him and the other toys out their misery because I mean if we defeat the prototype what will we do next? What will the toys do? They can't get a job of anything u get what I mean? They can't live like us humans even tho they were once humans but they are already dead and yes I'm sad that dogday died he might not have idk but tbh I'm not rlly on saving him either because all thses toys are already dead they don't have a life to live on u know so I think in the end we will probably be the only ones alive because poppy might die too in the end or maybe not idk but yh it depends what mod games wants to do with their game I think dogday is well dead I am sad but it means he was experimented on too and probably died by the scientists that's what I think im not trying to be mean to the toys or to dgday I just thinking the end I think our player just put them out their misery sorryfof this long paragraph lol! 😂

Yeah, if the roar after the possessed Dogday chase and the one of Kissy's attacker match, then whoever attacked Kissy also got Dogday, and the lil critters were only really following Catnap out of fear of him killing them otherwise, but now he's no more, they're now free to do whatever they want, so they're no longer obligated to work as a team, so the ones that wanna continue hunting probably can't control Dogday anymore because they don't have enough critters to perform that task, they're on their own now, and if Dogday died for real, then most likely the Prototype already took him away, he seems fond of the big body toys, and he's probably not letting some lil critters have such specimen while still fresh

My opinion (just like yours but whatever): When the mini critters failed to kill the player they went out of dogday But then Boom bam badababom PAM they god killed which means i dont think that dogday killed kissy missy + the screams dont match dogdays is low pitch and kissys high pitch and including this if dogday killed kissy missy how did he escape the playhouse? If the mini critters were smart enough they could have found a way to escape the playhouse
