Removing these hoses from the throttle body is pointless. It doesn’t actually touch the lip part where the intake tube sucks in air into the intake manifold. If you were going these lengths to remove those two tiny hoses, then I would do a block flush and a radiator flush or replace the whole radiator and hoses/water pump. Because as soon as you unbolt those crossover plugs from the block, at least 30% of your coolant comes shooting out of the block.

I plan on switching to a tbss intake and throttle body but the 4 bolt trottlebody doesn’t have a coolant line on it and so I can’t use the hose and I can’t buy a trottlebody that has one cause I need to use the x-link harness on my gmt800 but it only works with ac delco or delphi or gm brand

Are you still running a clutch fan or electric fan for the radiator? If so what's your orientation on the fan?

I hv bypassed water / coolant from throttle body as throttle body getting rusted & water getting in engine , please guide bypassing water will do exactly what & my car performance will go up or down??
@Vtec_unlimited2 жыл бұрын
The lines are there to help the throttle body not ice up in the winter but u don't really need it and your performance should go up cooler air entering the engine means more power and everything will work as it should

@@Vtec_unlimited One more thing Stoping water into throttle body will cause Rpm issue up & down ? Mechanic told me if u dont allow watr into throttle,it will cause calibrations problem & Rpm will not stable down

So you just bypassed the throttlebody all together and joined the 2 hoses together with that splice?
@Vtec_unlimited2 жыл бұрын
Yes they make plastic and metal fittings u can use I got everything I needed at O'Riley's

Yes

@@Vtec_unlimited My hose was long enough to skip the splice and just hook it up behind the alternator. Thanks
