Honestly this theory makes sense to me. Episode 1 it looked like Carter was gonna go HAM on Tariq all season but after that small interaction episode 2 it takes 5 more episodes for them to even be in a scene together. If Carter was seriously going after Tariq, he’d be all over the Zion unaliving and be in cuffs facing charges. If this was Saxe or Kamala Tate or even Whitman, they’d be ALL OVER THIS with Tariq as they’ve shown. Yeah there is either a serious connection between the two or it’s just bad writing because Carter has had all he needs to nail Tariq.
