Before strongman events, what I was excited about the most was seeing Eddie and Brian get together and make videos. To me they make the funniest stuff on KZbin. That slap fight they had in that elevator in Dubai was freaking hilarious. I’m glad they did not have the MMA fight because knocking out your best friend could ruin a relationship. Losing a arm wrestling match to your best friend that’s nothing.

He’s literally molded for it. Best grip in the world strongest back in the world never mind the sport. Strongest arm in the sport and he’s a rookie so he just gets to train and train and train and once he learns all those techniques and masters them. Holy crap. Imagine pulling him when he’s angry and adrenaline flowing through him. No thanks.

When I saw Devon destroy the Mountain that is what got me hooked. I never thought "the mountain is weak" he is a world strongman. What it did was open my eyes to the technique in arm wrestling. And seeing some random dude (not so random) can slay a giant was very intriguing. So even if you guys pull and lose to someone don't let it affect your ego. I think the public is well aware of how strong you guys are. Just know you are building the sport which is a win win for literally everyone! I'm so excited for this card, Good Luck.

What's also true is that if strongman had an event where you had to lift 70kg+ in a static bicep hold with a strap wrapped around your thumb with one arm, or a full flexion wrist curl for max weight contest, they would be better conditioned for armwrestling. Armwrestling is a different kind of strength, so while Brian and Eddie are strong, there's still strengths that they don't have yet that apply to armwrestling. Even the most technical lightweights in armwrestling probably can't beat Brian and Eddie and that's a strength issue. So, while there is technique, it comes back around to, are you strong enough to apply your technique against your opponent who is working against letting you?
@tgreen9110Сағат бұрын
I only really became interested in strong man after I saw Eddie Hall absolutely annihilate Magnus Mitbo in the swimming pool. I did not expect Eddie to beat a strength to weight ratio athlete in an aerobic sport. Eddie kept his swimming proficiency from when he was a whole other sized man. I totally did not expect that. Then later, Magnus nearly matched Eddie at rows. Incredible unexpected stuff.
