there is a weird bug in creative ATM where you keep getting the respawn animation, it even happens in survival levels where there are no respawns.

What keeps me playing fall guys is the events, fame passes, and overall fun gameplay. I have probably 250ish hours of fall guys and I'm a free to play player.

Gotta agree with you on the knockout take. Was far and away my favorite mode, and it was all I would play in my personal time. Not only that, it was more motivating to make maps with the goal that it could be enjoyed competitively by the community. It's sad, but with the introduction of one new mode, I don't really have an itch to make a new map, let alone play the game. Knockout has always been super important to us. Hopefully, they hear us and revert some changes. Time will tell

started playing fall guys in summer 2023. 600ish crowns away from marbellous. still enjoy the game but agree variety in knockout from creative rounds is missing

I feel like the only things that can save the game now is unvaulting the rest of the levels, adding ranked, and going back to seasons.

Unvaulting won’t change much at all, only a few levels still vaulted anyway. Seasons are pretty much back, we have themed sets of levels again. Ranked might help a bit but only to non casual players

I still play the game, but that's because I love creative and chill explore more than knockouts/competitive modes. Us finally having a curated version of Explore this update has actually been great for me to avoid all the boring 99-point and slimeball survival levels, although I hope they rotate the levels often enough that it doesn't get boring.

I think Explore should be reserved only for recent levels to let the community rate them, Spotlight for any great levels old or new, and Knockout for the great levels that suit the original Fall Guys gameplay style.

fall guys is my favorite game really. it's something that's actually playable and fun. the costumes and expressions add a lot. I like that there are modes where you can just chill and play without competing also, if you just want to relax. i started late. so i'm still griding for the final crown reward, so i'm not sure how things will change for me when i get it. i may play a little less when i hit the points in each "Season" where i've received all rewards, but for bored game play, i still choose fall guys over most. i love games like fortnite, but i just cant be good enough to have a good time.

@ I’ve just never been a big gamer myself! I do like to watch other people play though- largely because I find the format of video games interesting as a story telling medium. I’m a fiber artist and like having youtube on while I work :) I also have some pretty hardcore PTSD and find a few select channels- yours included- to be really comforting to listen to before bed/ while sleeping. FG is interesting enough to watch genuinely but mild and lighthearted enough that it fits that niche also. 💜

@@welephantsoup Very understandable, I'm glad you've enjoyed the videos! Fall Guys is a good simple and fun one to chat about, and it seems to work well for me too. A lot of people have said similar about comforting commentary, which initially had me worried about going for the more modern "fast cutting" style of editing, but I think it still works ok with less "space"? The videos felt like they were getting too long otherwise

@ I think it still works too! Honestly I think most folks are referencing the fact that you aren’t screaming or ragey here. Your demeanor is pretty unique in this corner of the internet. I like long form content but I know that’s not necessarily praised by the all powerful algorithm- I think you should do whatever feels right or at least feels fun:) I don’t think a change in editing style is a departure from who you are or the defining feature that makes your channel gain or lose value ya know? I am also 25 and I know The Kids These Days like snappier quicker cut editing lol

This is honestly the first time I feel a disconnection with the game (besides the actual disconnections. Pun and burn intended) I feel like I'm not drawn into playing, I love Explore and it's a pain to play it now due to all the bugs, being forced to wait for others, the softlocks, being stucked on an endless "finding next map".. now we finally have new emojis and phrases and it's absolute BS that they wanna charge showbucks FOR THAT, leaving Kudos once again to be abaolutely useless, It's also starting to be more obvious the inclined partnership of Epic with Disney with all their suits coming up constantly, but mainly this game feels less fun to play due to all the problems, honestly I started to have this prominent feeling since the last extremely grindy and tryhard events that burnt me out of the game beyond repair..

Actually I started playing fall guys since mobile launch but i have a long desire to play this game since it's launch in 2020....i used to play stumble guys for alternative and it WAS a good game. but I really like Fall Guys coz one and main reason is it's purely skill based game unlike P2W game and it got everything like free fame pass if we collect bucks for 3 months & It's fun to play not like getting crown those who won final level....I really like the idea of Crown Shards and Those first place 20% , 50% etc....+ I got lots of friends to play with....I don't know I never get bored of playing same levels again and again may be becoz of the characters they created... Only concern about this game is They should optimize the game more for mobile devices...there are some bugs exists for now they fixed some but are still there..

I tried Stumble Guys and agree that FG is definitely superior, though SG was always made as a mobile game so it is much simpler to run on most phones. FG is much more complex so I can see why it would be hard to optimise it for slower or older devices

funnily enough I only have about 20 wins on my alt, the other 1000 crowns are all from fame passes and the challenges. Shows how many crowns they dish out for free haha

@@octopaul I have a friend who started playing 3 months ago which was pretty convenient for him timing wise as there was the 4 crown show out twice and a lot of other shows one could grind fairly easily. On top of that the ghost shards are giving heaps of free crowns so my friend aims to complete his pass in a few days after it releases to clean up on that. He's already up to 3.7k lol On my alt I have about 150 although I've only been using it the past 4 passes or so. Like you it's been from the pass the last week and then if there are event challenges.

It's not Ok. New BAD physics, when another player can push you into a whole flight (hex-a-gon finale ruins). You cannot log in without 15 retries. BAD knockout. Less regimes (extra, only hex-a-gon etc). Poor famepass. Only 32 players in lobby. Fall Guys slowly dying.
