Just picked it up on sale on its way better than I thought, yeah it's probably the best in the series followed by 4. Hard disagree on Far Cry 3, I think it's overrated as crap. I would say Far Cry 5, 4, 2,1 and 3 is last. Far Cry 6 I don't even acknowledge its existence.

I got it on sale for 5 dollars on a steam sale, its the most fun ive had with far cry since 3. Definitely worth it if you can get it on sale.

Played this little gem for the first time this year. It’s aged like fine wine, but if you are sick of the Ubisoft formula your going to have a hard time with this one. Also the helicopter is broken and made the end game way too easy.

If you head to Adelaide asap after leaving the intro island, then invest in the perk that heals all vehicles you occupy, and the game becomes very simple to progress. 😂

I actually liked this one! Havent finished it since i havent had time to play games but surprisingly the country setting was a big change from the feel of 3-4 and sort of even 6!!

Just started playing this this week cuz it was on sale for $8. Loving it so far. Also loving that its set in Montana. I live in Idaho so the environment feels very familiar to me. So much fun

This is an amazing game but set that aside and the story itself aged VERY well. The game is a very clear representation of what religion, politics, and blind faith in general are becoming in the US today.

Definitely worth a buy, im an og fan of the series and I'd say 2 is the most unique, 3 has the best storytelling and 5 has the best gameplay, I liked new dawn but in 5 all guns are viable at all difficulties and you can have 2 followers and still keep 1 during co op, that and the vibes/immersion of the open world in 5 are immaculate

I think that far cry 5 is criminally underrated. It's like being in an American version of mad max. Far cry 5 reminds me of Assassin's Creed black flag. It's an amazing prepper fantasy game. A mediocre far cry game. Black flag is an amazing pirate game, but a mediocre AC game.

I played Far Cry since Far Cry 1, i stopped at 5, played New Dawn for 30 minutes, played Far Cry 6 for 30 minutes. I think the best Far Crys are 1 and 3. Far Cry 3 has the best story by far, Far Cry 4 had the best atmosphere, and Far Cry 5 has the best open workd, but it got tedious so that I didnt complete 5, and this is the one where weapons were being hidden behidn the paywall, the game was way too tight fisted with giving you money and it took forever to grind for a basic unsatisfying gun. But the world is absolutely beautiful.

@ Primal is special, it could have been better, but that is actually the one with the most beautiful world and the best atmoshpere I completely forgot. Something about when the sun sets and it goes dark and your hear a wolf pack howling and see their eyes glowing in the dark. Primal is actually the Far Cry with peak world and atmosphere, a beautiful world. I recently replayed 4 like a week ago, I played for 4 hours and deleted it. Far Cry 1 and 3 are the best hands down

This game benefits from a mod which makes it take longer to trigger the three scripted events in each region. It feels like they wanted them to happen early enough for inclusion in those 'many' first time streaming upon release/reviews that tend to make the beginning the best part sadly.

This is the game right here, brother the best in the world. I got a lot of game man but nothing could match up to this one. I don’t care what it is. I just can’t get enough of playing this game. You know how many time I played this game buddy almost every time I beat this game I don’t think nobody played it the way I do. That’s how much I love this shit I just can’t get enough. Is that damn good all of the other fire cry, garbage complete garbage but this one here I wouldn’t say complete garbage what I’m trying to say there’s no comparison with this one five is the best. DO NOT BUY THIS GAME. The game is fun for a short while but after you play it for a bit, it gets old fast. What ruins the game - #1 A ton of clones. Everyone looks exactly the same. There's only a couple of different models. #2 The game gets progressively worse as you level. None of the weapons scale and neither does your health, you don't get new or better weapons later. So after a few levels you will find yourself unloading 20 rounds from a shotgun to bring a shirtless man down at point blank range. It's not even close to realistic. #3 Storyline becomes muddy, confusing, and difficult and all of it gets worse as you level. So basically the game is fun to play for a couple of hours and then it turns completely to crap.
