1967 was a worst year for Rajendra Kumar.Firstly Palki was released in 67 which was a big flop.Then Aman released which was also a flop.This time Rajendera Sahib have shifted his residence to Pali Hill.In his old residence of Carter Road,was a boon for Rajendra Kumars success.Both the 67 released were disaster for Rajendera Kumar.Then Anjana was announced by Mohan-Rajendra and romantic film like Jhuk Gaya Aasman.Both the films well accepted by audience.

Aman is not disaster only palki is disaster , aman is 11th highest grosser of the year and semihit it did not reached expectations in india but in iran , egypt , lebanon , middle east etc its big hit Anjana is only avg movie , Jhuk Gaya Asman was not first well received and only avg but in re release it did well

Dil Ek Mandir was a great hit. Aman is loosely based on the same story line. The funeral scene un Dil Ek Mandir had a great impact. The same was recreated in Aman. However what worked for Dil Ek Mandir did not work for Amann

Aman is big hit in iran , middle east , lebanon , egypt etc , not reached expectations in india . overall it endedup aboveaverage commercially though it did not reach the expectations but its 11th biggest grosser of the year. Movie is not well made though concept is good and richly maded , too many songs , japanese spekaing hindi , saira as japnese girl and hero death due to radiation are drawbacks
