Like if you do any searching you can easily find the quote of scott thats repeated frequently where he said "regret trying to tie it into canon" so like idk in what world you could say it isn't

so i found the quote you were talking about and it seems like, in its current state (that being update 2 limbo), its in a weird half-canon. scott did say that he *regretted* **trying** to tie it into canon, meaning that some parts of it are (namely most of update 1 and the clock ending) and all of the rest of it isnt. so i will concede that it has some canon lore in it, but the game itself isnt canon

i agree! i dont think that the pedigree of the game should be whether or not its triple a, but the more i thought about it the more i realized fnaf was somewhere in the middle

Not to be a know it all or anything but fnaf AR is actually a mainline game. Besides that this video was really good and yes while steelwool happen to have the budget of AAA games the team is still small for the scale of SB.

i totally forgot! i knew fnaf AR had lore hidden in the code and scrapped content, but it has completely lapsed my mind that it was actually canon. thanks for reminding me!

its definitely not lol, it has its own lore that doesnt tie into the main series at all. the closest thing it has to being canon is a sister location teaser iirc
