@@andrasrichardjando5194 gatling is still decent, maybe even A tier. While it isn't worth the grind, once you get it, it's a decent tower to use. It has great crowd control, full stun immunity and most importantly, manual aiming. This makes dealing with annoying enemies a lot easier, and in combination with the full range, this thing is still great and it's even better with stallers. If gatling RELEASED like this, then it would be fine, but people grew so accustomed to the braindead 7k DPS gatling gun with no real flaws that a (statisical) 300 dps nerf was too much for them.

Its a useless tower now completly outclassed by Pursuit and other dps towers in every way imaginable. The nerf was clearly to much, it only needed a small nerf like 10% damage nerf and -1 pierce Keep in mind that every other dps tower is easier to unlock and most of them are much better than gatling Turret beats it up like its nothing Pursuit is better at everything Engineer not only has better DPS overall but can also be used early game Ranger is much better against bosses and still handles normal enemies well the only dps towers that gatling can compete with are accel and golden mini, and we know how much accel has fell off, so gatling gun being comparable to him isn't a good sign also the fact that mortar has better single target dps value is just stupid, Gatling needs to be buffed because now its not worth ANY COINS (the fact that it was replaced by Pursuit in solo hardcore runs says A LOT)

I completely agree. The gatling gun being the highest level requirement for any tower and almost the cost of a golden crate should ensure that it is a good tower. The old gatling gun had 2500 dps with pierce but a placement limit of 1. 1000 single target dps caused a gatling gun to struggle against some bosses and at that point engineer and accelerator were better than it. Now only having 650 single target damage is such a heavy nerf to a tower which has a placement limit of 1 is so bad. At the moment regular minigunner is better than it.

I think too that gatling deserved a small nerf or if the ones that wanted to kill the tower still complain then delete gatling from everyones inventory and risd it's lvl and price to unlock like lvl 200 and 65k coins or 10k gems

I think a better way to nerf gatling would be to only give it small single target DPS nerfs (~10% less DPS) but make all later levels noticeably more expensive and nerf the piercing. I would nerf the gatling pierce by reducing it from 1->1->0.5 (two first enemies take full damage, and the third one take 50%) to just 1->1 (just two first enemies take full damage and that's it). I would also give gatling a special mechanic where it gets weaker depending on how many players there are in the match or how many gatlings are placed down in total (because gatling is way more balanced in solo than in teams due to being a micro-heavy tower and being balanced around a placement limit of 1): 1 player/gatlings = no extra nerfs Duo/2gatlings = pierce reduced to 1->0.75 Trio/3 gatlings = pierce reduced to 1->0.6 Quad/4 greduces = -10% damage at all levels. (TL:DR - im still pissy and mad that I can't use new OP pursuit + old OP gatling to get carried through solo HC)

You have a massive skill issue in comparing things. 4 max mortars which costs about 130000 does 450 dps while If It hits 3 enemies or 10, It'll do 1350 dps same amount as 3 max turret or 4500 dps but a gatling which costs about 240000 does 600 dps while having 3 max hits making total dps 1500. So Mortar easily beats up Gatling gunner now
