Great demo as always, thanks Phill. I like the two piano layer. I normally do piano and strings. That combo is great. I see you have volume almost at max, but I don't hear any distortion. 👍 😃👍 I agree on the quality. The standard piano on the Keys 5 is better than the standard piano on my Yamaha PSR SX900. I will play the piano on its own on the Keys 5 but I have to layer piano and strings on my SX900.

Hi, thank you for the Roland Go keys 5 videos. I have recently purchased this and notice in the manual it says I can stream music audio to it via Bluetooth so I can play along to my favourite songs but also that there is a “centre cancel function” that can turn off the singing of the audio so I can sing along to the audio song myself. Would you be able to do a video demoing this please , thank you ❤

In performance, I need to be able to mute the line out between songs, while still using headphones to make settings changes. I cannot find this capability thru the menus. How is it done?

Hi Tony! Thanks for reaching out with your question about muting the line out on your GO:KEYS 5 while using headphones. I tried looking into it myself, but unfortunately, there isn't a built-in setting for that. The most reliable way to achieve this is to physically disconnect the line out cable from your external amplifier or speakers. However, this can sometimes cause a pop sound. If you're concerned about the pop noise, you might consider using a Cubilux 6.35mm Volume Controller (available on Amazon). This inline volume control allows you to quickly reduce the volume to almost zero without completely disconnecting the cable, minimizing the pop sound. I checked out the Cubilux controller myself, and it seems like a solid option for your needs. I'm worried about the key action. I'm afraid to order a go Keys 5 open the package at home and find myself with a nice looking keyboard with good sound but action that leaves much to be desired. I need to try it first in store.
