Is graphic design a good career?

Ai is scary not sure how we are meant to not think it will take over ? I have no idea how we meant to work with it to our benefit

I know AI can be very scary when it comes to our careers. I think it doesn’t threaten what we do to a certain extent but really I think it will simply expedite what we do. I see our career being augmented by AI, not replaced. My fav quote is “ai won’t take your job, but someone using ai will.” The reason why I’m not terrified of ai is because ai isn’t human. It doesn’t understand what it feels like to have our experiences. Peoples decisions are rarely based purely on logic, they’re often emotionally driven (more than we care to admit), and so in order to create convincing and impactful marketing - one needs to inherently understand emotions to do a great job. Something ai cannot do.

@@CreativeDirectorExplains I agree to some extent. I do thing it is going to replace a lot of the grunt work and entry level positions that have less creative thinking though which will make It hard to get aspiring designer's feet through the door in a already competitive industry
