Putting down my thoughts and questions about this: 1. Alright let say if Gregbot is true. Why are we just NOW seeing the used of Robot children? Where did either Michael or whoever built Gregory get the methods/technology for making him? 2. So you’re saying Michael is alive. Not in a robot form or spirit form mind you. But actually flesh and bones, in his body still. He also might knows that William himself is still around in the living world in some. YET…he’s not doing anything to stop him or his assistant. The only thing he has done, making a robot child based on the BV/CC and leaving it to do all work. Yeah you see already a BIG problem here. If Michael was he would been done something the second he figure it out. Not leave a clueless a human like robot around with NO back up or instructions on how to stop two murders. This is even worse if you throw in the theory of Vanessa being related to Michael. Again he would have sprung into action WAY sooner. Old age or not. Can Michael even age? If he is too old couldn’t he still help in a much better way instead just leaving it too Gregory? Quick thing about Vanny and Vanessa. About the if they’re the same or separate people. And if she Busy with something else will what could be so important than helping out Vanny? 4. One big thing I think that goes against Gregbot. If the plan is to capture this robot kid to bring him to Afton so he can do stuff to him…that sounded kinda wrong but still. If that the case, why do ever Animatronics we face, Kills Gregory? Wouldn’t Afton want us alive instead. Yes the animations do definitely kills us/Gregory. I mean look at all their jumpscares almost all of them are biting off the kid face or something. Especially Monty’s and Freddy’s jumpscares. The only ones that may not apply to is Moon, cause I can’t what he’s doing to us in his. I would make a case for Vanny too since at first looking at her jumpscare it doesn’t seem like she hurting Gregory. More so picking him up and dancing with him. Although one of friends actually give an idea for that. He said it looks like Vanny might Strangling poor Gregory and dancing while doing it. And looking at it now…I kind of see it.

It is those stupid books and the fact William and Henry are robotic geniuses that have people clinging to the "proof" of humans being robots. I will say that Michal has the knowhow and materials to create a robot(guess that's the only good thing he got from his father). Maybe she was helping her dad build Gregory because he was old and needed lots of breaks, but by the time he was finished, Vanessa was gone and Vanny had become her? I still believe Gregory is a plain human, but definitely has some connection or more knowledge to the Afton Family.

My theory is that Gregory and Vanessa are both descendants of the Afton Family. Probably grandkids of Mike as Mike's the only Afton we know survived to adulthood and had some time between 1983 and ~1995 which is likely when he was scooped to have fathered 1 or more kids, and by the 90s, he'd have good reason to not trust his by then absentee dad and hide his kids and their mother from his dad.

Honestly, I think this is the reason why I’ve grown out of the fandom, it’s because the game is still trying to revolve around the afton and the Emily family ( even tho Greg bot , glam mike , Vanessa Elizabeth and yada yada are just theories ) , it’s just tiring , because for me , the the afton family and Henry family storyline should’ve ended up to the UCM , because in these games , we basically got to see the beginning of everything up to William suffering in an eternal hell , so when he returns as glitchtrap in fnaf VR , I was sort of mad ? I think not mad but disappointed because I was like “ you are still alive even after everything?!” , but then the dread bear DLC came out and we learned about vanny , and honestly, it got me excited because we finally had a new character who was going to be the “ new William afton “ ( despite Vanessa being manipulated by william from the shadows ) , so new missing kids , new major characters and etc , fnaf special delivery also boosted my confidence because of the emails , then comes security breach , who I thought would be like “ no more William , no more Michael and no more afton family , just new characters we will shove at your faces and you will have to make the theories for yourselves about them “ , but nope , William returned like , for real , and basically he was the mastermind behind everything happening to the pizzaplex, probably even more then vanny , and now these are circulating that like , “ Michael is Freddy “ or “ Gregory is CC’s bot “ and etc , who have a high chance of being true but at the same time high chance of being false ( really hope it’s false ).

This is a very interesting theory. I've got a different theory I've been working on and that's that when souls (aka Remnant) or strong emotions (IE Agony) are attached to devices with data storage capabilities, they write their data to that device, as much as it can hold. They may also be able to write that data to other nearby devices. While the means of that data being written are supernatural, the data itself is not. It's just data. The data in this case, would be the personality and memories of the source soul/emotion, which, if complete enough and running on an advanced enough computer, can form into an AI, even a fully sentient AI (such as Glitchtrap). Glitchtrap is a computer virus and the games are VERY clear on that point. A computer virus can only exist by attaching itself to (infecting) another file, and can only be active and running if that file runs, thus allowing the virus' code to run. Viruses are self replicating and in fact, that's one of their primary features, they will use networks and removable media to attempt to spread themselves to and infect as many computers as possible. Viruses can also be either actively doing something, or on standby, running but doing nothing, just waiting for further instructions. Glitchtrap is not psychically controlling the Glamrocks form afar, as a virus, Afton lacks the ability to do that, nor can he possess Vanessa, as a virus, he's incompatible with the human brain and can't write himself to her brain. However, he can brainwash or manipulate her via the VR system while she's in there, and continue manipulating her via infected computers, emails, SMS messages, or others already under his control/influence. He can directly "possess" computers via infiltrating them and infecting 1 or more files on them. Hacking in other words. However, a good enough firewall can block him, as we see if you read through the IT log section of the Special Delivery lore. A good antivirus could also detect and remove Gltichtrap as well. So as Gltichtrap, Afton gains all the advantages and weaknesses of a computer virus. He can control the Glamrocks by hacking, or having a partner help him hack into them, install a copy of himself on there by infecting their files and then run when needed and possible to control them remotely. Glitchtrap basically has 2 core functions that I've determined from the gameplay of SB and the opening cut scene. He can function as a Remote Access Tool (RAT) or as a security override, forcing the Glamrocks to act under a corrupted security protocol, scanning for certain individuals and attempting to kill or capture them. That's what happens to Freddy in the opening cut scene, his copy of Glitchtrap activates the security mode prematurely, in the middle of a main stage show, in front of an audience of over 1000 people, and Freddy starts scanning all of them, gets as far as detecting one as a target (probably Gregory) and tries to load up a response program, all while still running Show Mode programs, and continuing to scan for more targets. But he reaches his hardware capacity, overloading his system and he crashes. When Freddy reboots, he's rebooted into Safe Mode, which is a common feature of all operating systems, to troubleshoot problems, like a crash, or malware infection, with many parts of the OS disabled, and many programs that would normally run automatically also either disabled or on manual startup only, such as Freddy's infected Show Mode programs. Since Show Mode is not, or cannot run, Glitchtrap cannot run in Freddy and so he's free to follow his original programming and ethics, which are clearly benign. He also clearly states that all of the Glamrocks were designed to be similarly benign. We can know they are only hostile because of the Glitchtrap Virus infecting them and overriding their own preferred responses with Gltichtrap's own protocols. As to Why Roxy, Monty and Chica don't crash and reboot into safe mode, is because for them, Gltichtrap, when it activated upon their infected Show Modes running, was properly set to standby until closer to midnight, when the Pizzaplex would be emptying out and there'd be no chance of them overloading their systems with too many security scans. This was likely what was intended for Freddy too, but I suspect since Mike's still alive, he's been studying hacking and we see evidence he's been hacking and planting a type of malware known as spyware in FE systems, such as the one in Special Delivery that sends FE emails about that project to an email of his. I suspect he found out about Gregory due to that remote surveillance and hacked Freddy's copy of Gltichtrap, anticipating that would make it go haywire and crash Freddy, forcing Parts and Servie to reboot him to safe mode to troubleshoot the crash. disabling the virus temporarily. Either P&S keeps Freddy in Safe Mode overnight, or they find and remove Glitchtrap, and either way, Freddy is free to act according to his own benign AI and conscience, where we see throughout the game increasing signs that Freddy is a sentient AI.

I don’t think them being in separate continuities matter. How we found out the Purple Guy’s name is William Afton, was because of the books, and then that same name was mentioned in Sister Location. Don’t get me wrong, because I don’t believe Gregory is a robot either, but just because the books are two separate universes, doesn’t mean we can’t use them as evidence for the games.

I got a theory, but it's really stretched, but sounds cool like if Michael survived and maybe brought fazbear entertainment (not likely) Then pass it to one of his kids then told him/her to hire their sister Vanessa so they can save her and maybe end Afton. Not really positive about this 😕 I really explain this theory later
