Full development likely started in 2019-2020, not 2022. Just in the 2022 leaks a lot of that footage was from 2021. And they already had some story/dialogue/missions mostly done, and usually in game development you do the map layout before you even attempt to write a story and then change the map here and there accordingly once the story is finished. Roger Clark even said it took him 5 years, and the map developers 3 years before him. This game has been in development far longer than 2022.

As an ex "Games Tester" I can confirm it's all about breaking the game in any which way you can - A process I thoroughly enjoyed 😅 The worst thing about being a "Games Tester" is being put on a game you really don't like, but you're getting payed to do it, so you just crack on with it and pray it's over soon enough. Overall, being a "Games Tester" was the best damn job I ever had.

@Asienbesia Other than having a great C.V, and applying for any "Games Tester" job listings on specialist websites, the other way I guess would be to track down any potential local (..or within reasonable travel distance) game development companies and to e-mail them asking about any potential upcoming 'Testing' jobs, and to please consider You / Your C V for any future job openings. At the time when I became a tester, I happened to be in the right place at the right time (a Jobcentre they'd posted the job in) when the chance arose .. I saw it, immediately applied for it, attended the interview, played a game for half an hour (whilst being spied on by a 'Programmer' lol, (unbeknown to me at the time) and then sat through ten minutes of question, after question regarding the job, and how keen I was. I got the job, and worked there for 4 years on some 25+ games.

My guess is they finished a couple of months before they sent out that email about stoping work from home & they want there staff to go back to the office which was April of 2024. Now they’re in the stages of polishing and fixing bugs which usually takes about a year or less. Also they’re hiring for QA testing (night shift) atm so maybe they want people to try and break there game as much as possible since it’s in the final stages rn & they can fix it before launch. I think they’ll be done with everything by May and will start pushing heavily on marketing this summer for their Fall rollout

daaang Americans have it bad taking vacations... over here in South Africa I get 21 days a year leave. I am currently sitting on 26 days for the year, once we reach 18 to 20 days you become a LEAVE LIABILITY to company and they start forcing you to take or plan to take leave... This is why I break my leave up into two parts, Next Tuesday my leave starts and then I only go back to work on the 1st of March then by May i take another two weeks. When I say we become a leave liability to the company its that SARS (our TAX agency) TAXES the company higher for every person over the minimum leave criteria 18 to 20 days... Trailer 1 got us excited about the game, Trailer 2 needs to get us interested and hyped about Lucia & Jason. They need to show us them in the same light they did Trevor, Micheal, Franklin, Arthur, & all that came before them. more of the Bonnie & Clyde vibe there going for because right now I don’t feel a connection or hype for these characters yet. At least not in the same way I did for the characters of the past at this point in time of the games promotion. These characters have my curiosity, trailer 2 needs to get my attention. If we do get a trailer February 14th would be a perfect time to do it. we got the Fantastic 4 trailer today on February 4th, why not drop trailer 2 on Valentine’s Day fits perfectly given the story we’re gonna get. will we get it, only time will tell. If we don’t that’s a missed opportunity & at that point definitely delayed. lastly you know what’s interesting & concerning, I think had those GTA 6 leaks not happened. there’s a chance we wouldn’t have gotten a trailer then and we actually would have gotten it around this time. so if I was to say there’s a chance it’s not done yet. if I were to guess probably 85% is done, but who knows we’ll see what happens this month.

The trailer looked visually bad because of KZbin compression when uploading videos.... This is why people were so in awe of the exact same trailer on BillyBilly a Chinese sort of youtube but it does not compress videos when uploading.... The problem with video compression when uploading is you lose quality... KZbin literally uploads into a lower quality so it can upload faster then it basically regenerates or even UPSCALE to higher quality for viewing but this means you already lost the original quality as its now upscaled and not true quality.... ask any content creator on here and they will confirm YT first uploads in SD the it says in HD but its not true HD as they upscale from their SD that they uploaded.to their servers

YES GTA 6 IS CONFIRMED FINNISHED, Will be coming out at the end of this year! It has to come out due to the investments from both GME, AMC, TTI and Much other big brands like SONY, SAMSUNG, teaming up with rockstar to make this come true. And including the biggest hint of them all, if the game wasn't coming out this year than they wouldn't have put a share hold on the community and invest 4 million dollars' worth of shares for the launch of the game, It all lines up with how good games sell which is around OCT. This was first said in May 2024 and mention to all investers infirmed that they are right on schedule with realizing the game on time, On Feb 6 will be getting the exact date of the game coming out and later on in the year will find out when the trailer is coming out which is good news and should be just 4 month wait after the drop for PC version of the game. Good new's with this being said is because GTA 6 will be such a big game that a lot of people buy, that means huge New nigh in the market for people to sell, ect.

might be, if they wanna do a IV remaster they can't drop VI first. but they also need to hurry up and get IV out right now, they're nearly out of time, if gta doesn't get pushed back again its under a year away and we don't even have a screenshot. I doubt they'd let IV stop VI tho, if VI sat there finished and somehow leaked, Rockstar would be fkd, its too risky. it's not finished, they don't know when it will be ready and that's why they're dead silent, i mean unless something is dropping in 2-3 days..
