Yeah you constantly have to skip grind so much stuff for 1 party but once you have a 1 decent team it becomes really easy to prioritize what stuff you want to grind on. Granted it takes a while but the payoff is worth it in the end.

GT is a game that is supremely f2p friendly, is suprisingly easy to reach the endgame of compared to the likes of genshin, and most importantly, is RIDICULOUSLY enjoyable as both a game and a story.

As someone who has a job now compared to when GT came out 3yrs ago. This game is literally my happy pill. It doesn't waste my time due to the sweep feature (unlike arknights that forces me to watch repeat stages everyday to progress), so I log in then sweep everything then log in again after 8hrs or so. And when I want the game to take my time, I play story mode that I don't rush at all. Also have a character collection problem and GT literally fills that for me due to generous daily mail of coffee and gems.

Gt forever this is the most nostalgic , generous game all you need is patience to progress and enjoy the story and the game itself. Right now im killing all the content and im f2p. Im currently at w11-4. Im enjoying my team although not meta but its carrying me nice. im just half a month playing it. You guys must try this awesome game.

As someone who played it first casually and now redoing it again paying attention to character strengths, i’d say its half and half, I got stuck at the beginning of world 10 and was NOT about to grind to upgrade or get stronger characters because none of my characters can do a solo fight because i spent all my resources on characters I liked and not the *strongest* not to mention how shocked i was when the difficulty spikes alot. But despite the spike, the references are amazing, as a zelda fan i still love the reference in the first world, and world design is amazing, like the shrinking, mouse one

I enjoyed this game until world 11 where you had to beat the boss with a specific future princess team. It took so long to farm the materials that I forgot key elements of the story. Also the ai controlling my characters kept running into enemy fire.

Every game has its hard parts so when you reach them you simply have to push yourself. Also the fight on world 11 has been nerfed more than 5 times so you can't really say its unfair.

My experience is the following one, from some years ago: You don't notice issues and find a good game until... World 11 arrives. Dumb ally AI is very noticeable against the hallways of that world. And Beth's fight is just plain bullshit. Do you know why did I win her 2 phases? Dodging like if it was a Touhou final boss fight. And because of Future Princess. Plenty of tries and hours. Got tired of the game. Never cared about getting above gold in ranked. Just cared for the characters and the gameplay but the second thing got ruined just because of artifficial numbers difficulty. Because is so much fun to be 9999 days doing the same against an oponent with millions of HP who doesn't give you a win by strat, just by numbers. The game deceives you with easy difficulty until world 9. World 10 is normal to hard but bearable if you aren't bad. 11 then gets the "F2p? Fuck you loser" dial to the next level. When your AI sucks and the enemy has overbloated HP or forced oneshots on you (I'm looking at the enemy's backlines on W11 hallways), is not a matter of skill. Is a matter of turning into a legit cash grab. They could just use whales on multiplayer modes and leave the main game alone but nope. RIP. Sorry, but repeating the Beth boss fight experience even if I won, but later with more numbers surely is not my definition of fun. Your squad feels like average MOBA players not staying away from harm and dying in seconds. Including... Exactly, your healer. And it hurts because the game by itself could be if not the best, one of the best ones from the Store if they just did focus the p2w on pvp.

yall i played the nintendo switch version just because i wanted to see how far i can make it f2p and bro with the free FP they give us, and i just pity her weapon too, i manage to beat beth in world 10. I would like to mention as well i wasted no gems on any stages on world 10 not even on the boss fight. I stopped playing after world 10 because the story wasnt caught up yet but this game is extremely f2p and only really need FP so far to complete it.

It depends on your definition of what is good afk/idle games. The problem is, most afk/idle games are heavily p2w, need dupes to limit break their level cap. Thanks Guardian Tales is not like that. Importantly, they have sweep features so I don't need to grind all day long glued to my screen.
