I do too! There are some amazing Headlong versions out there to name one. But I think there are some really good ones that Uneeq has made as well that could work. Like Longshore. I also think some of the Infinite maps could work very well in there. Launch Site has been listed by players as somewhat large for 4v4 and definitely too small for 12v12. If it was put into Squad Battle I think it would be a great fit. I'm always happy to see my baby Waterworks showing up in YT videos, though. Thanks for featuring it @Late Night Gaming!

Halo infinite is dead 343 is a shit developer and that’s just how it is unfortunately they were gifted one of the greatest gaming franchises of all time at its peak and all they’ve done since is run it into the core of the planet at Mach speeds. They’re an awful company with no passion or creativity I genuinely hope 343 gets shit down and halo goes to another developer or they just let it die cause there hasn’t been a true halo game since 2010. It has improved quite a bit. The last thing now that must be done is getting rid of the rigging of multiplayer matches. You can even see your stats and what the computer predicts, and it's a pretty spot on prediction.

If you do too good in one match it will ramp up the difficulty of the next match in terms of what kind of players you'll be fighting and what kind if teammates you'll have. If you get a lot of kills one match, the algorithm is going to do everything it can to make you lose the next one.

Dsync is still a thing, Radar doesn't work half the time, Melee's do not register/ Don't lunge when the reticle turns red, Weapons are absolutely not balanced what so ever, Die after one hit at full shields sometimes, Launched into a game that is almost done and always on the losing team, team "death" may be disabled but teammates are still able to run you over and no option to kick them. Yeah This game has a long way to go. Just because there is more content doesn't mean that the game is fixed/ better. What I listed is still happening causing me to just not play the game, out of frustration that some of the basic mechanics just don't work That's the most important thing to be over more content right now. They had 2 years to fix the game and it's still disappointing to me. Halo reach-3 work way better than infinite and that's saying something.

See despite sinking the better part of my life into Halo 2 and Halo 3, even Reach and Halo 4 to some degree. I find it difficult to even want to come back to give it another chance. This game had great bones from the get-go but zero meat to speak of. Why do game companies insist on botched releases? While it is excellent that they are developing and making the game better as they should, you will NEVER EVER recapture a game's launch potential. All the die hard fans that you failed to hook and draw in are not coming back. For every single person you gain back you lost 1,000 more on the botched release. It's so tragic. So disappointing. Stop releasing half baked games. It's shameful that no game has even managed to come remotely close to the launch and content that Halo 3 had on September 25th, 2007.

Im having fun with infinite but I still am not the biggest fan of the foundation of the game. Movement speed and weapon design aren’t the best, and to top it off the engagement optimized matchmaking makes me want to never touch the game after playing a match (mint blitz did a great video recently). THe problem with Halo right now is it is a Homer Simpson meme. It looks good... until you dig deeper. -No COOP splitscreen (Yes, I'll continue to hold it because it was promised multiple times for over 5 years. They don't just get to back out of a promise. I'm, holding them to it) -CGB and Theater still have major bugs -Monetization is still greedy and they are doing boil the frog where they are slowly raising the prices back up -HUD/Aiming issues still not addressed -Firefight still missing (i know it's claimed to come in S5 but with 343's reputation it might be mid S5 if it comes at all) -Infection is a joke (not just the new way to play is super sweaty but also its held together by toothpicks as you cant change much of the game mode's settings so you can't make Fat Kid, Speed Demon, Ice Cream Man. Which is why players have to still use the scripted slayer version of infection which has to be built into the map each time and no ability to adjust settings in the main menu like a normal custom game for some options.) I want Infinite to be fun again but easily CGB, Firefight, and Infection are my real holdbacks

I think an issue is that they haven't really done anything to promote this stuff, so a lot of people just aren't aware if they don't check the game often. I'm still a bit pessimistic about the game, so things like no PvE mode, the overpriced and aggressive shop, no event reruns, and a lack of progression still bother me a lot. Though for transparency, I don't really enjoy PvP that much, so outside of Forge there isn't really much there for me beyond the occasional Infection match. It's nice they've tried to add and update modes that play better, though.

As a long time ago halo fan who grew up playing these and quit after 4 and then trying halo infinite out at launch only to not enjoy it, I literally search "is halo infinite good now" every few months, jump in and play a game and then quit again, so now I have it on install again to see if I'll like it, my point is, the game has no promotion outside of content creators, Microsoft needs to maybe start promoting the game if its actually good again.

While I really enjoy Infinite very much and agree with what you discussed in the video, it's still lacking that social aspect of the old games and MCC. It just feels... lonely. On MCC, I often make new friends in-game and play a lot of the wacky custom games with randoms just to chill. Something that is very rare to happen on Infinite unless you already have friends to play with since the beginning. So now I mostly play Infinite just to grind the BP and complete weekly challenges and then move back to MCC. I really hope 343 improve the social aspect of Infinite. Also, Infinite's theater is absolutely shitty. The only thing that I despise the most from that game lol

I heard even MnK was better than launch, so I gave it a try after a whole year from first disinstalling it. Aiming was definitely better, it felt right. Then, in the FIRST match here came the unavoidable PACKET LOSS. How's it possible to get such a horrible experience with ping 30ms!? Servers don't guarantee a flawless online experience, so I can't play it (mind you that in 800+ hours with Halo 5 back then, I never had any problem at all)

0:07 heheh… they cut 3/4ths of xp earnings out of the PvE mode, that’s why I stopped playing, I do occasionally turn it on and check if 343 fixed the message saying “released during season 3” lie and or even released the classic magnum coating for the sidekick, but alas no they STILL HAVEN’T, when firefight releases they better add a GOOD xp system for it, because I hate PvP and being only pinned against sweaty ranked causuals… that it for now, my digital keyboard is starting to lag.

Squad Battle is fun but I'd prefer them to just do those same maps but with 12v12. The default BTB maps are so huge that it doesn't feel like we have more players. 12v12 on Valhalla would be fast paced, chaotic and action packed. Also squad Battle suffers from that old Halo problem where if you get in a team that sucks (common) the other team will just control everything and dominate you, so there needs to be more anti vehicle solutions on it or something.

Honestly, I think 12v12 would feel awful on those maps. Too many players per encounter, too many vehicles at any given time, bad/messy pacing. Sort of like battlefield 2042

@@LateNightHalo you might think that but then there's other games with custom servers like Counter-Strike or Battlefield 4 where the player count is increased on specific maps and it's amazing. The most popular servers in CS Source for years has been Dust 2 with a big bump in player count. In Halo 3, custom games on Guardian with 12 players instead of 8, or High Ground with 8v8 instead of the vanilla 4v4 was hectic and sweaty yet skillful still. 2042 feels like that because it literally just sucks. Badly.
