I've leaned conservative most of my life until the elections of 2020 and the shameless way Trump tried to cling to power. Yes, I'm concerned about the border, but conservatives had an opportunity to pass a bill to deal with it when they had both houses. There was the bi-partisan bill which was a middle ground for a divided government and Trump told them not to touch it. So both MAGA and the Democrats own the border problem no matter how anyone tries to spin it. I like lower taxes too. But I have trouble voting for Trump because he stokes fear and division.
