Your brother has a brain injury which often changes a person's personality. It also affects a person's ability to reason and cognise information. Recovering from brain trauma can take years, even a lifetime. What ever you do Mike, don't take Glen's quick temper and disengagement towards you personally. It's the brain injury that's causing it. I pray something happens to put Glen back in hospital so that he can allow his brain to recover. Prayers from Australia 🙏🙏

Spoiler alert: If one of you dies it's not going to help the other get sober. That's a romantic notion but it's not real. What'll happen is the person who is still alive will go on a huge bender to mourn the loss and then they'll die too. You can't help each other. Not in life and certainly not in the afterlife. Sounds like your brother has chosen death. You have to make your own choice for you. Right now. The clock is ticking and it's not a matter of if it's a matter of when. If you want to live you have to do something about it RIGHT NOW regardless of whatever your brother is doing. Get away from him. I know that sounds harsh but it's true

Mike - what has happened to Glens arm. There was puss coming out of it! Glen has a brain injury and has now changed for ever. He needs help. I fear he will walk into trouble because if the injury 😢

Go yankee Jets??!! That is wack comment!I Don't think if one of you die you get better!Man the best thing to do is start going to NA meetings and AA as it a mindset to recovery. Rehab would be better but one step is to try suboxezone or methodone.Or cut back on drug use if possible. You need support network a good start would be volunteering at a charity you need to be changing your daily routines if you can.l know drug addiction it is so consuming of your mind and you will relapse but still keep thinking about what you can do to give purpose in life. The youtube is good for letting out your daily struggles but you need to live towards change and do it now .Glen is in a very bad place health wise be the big brother and lead him with you you will regret if you don't. Addiction is your daily routine try to help others and you will help yourself . I see a want but you lack direction.Go to church anything posative to meet and share life as we need to be accountable.
