It’s not dying because it doesn’t have day 1 player counts anymore, it’s normal albeit a little faster but of usual player decline

The games great man, amazing game, possibly top three multiplayer games ever, definitely top wave defense game, but none of that is worth licking the boots of Sony and taking the hard copium you're on right now man, it was great while it lasted, but humans fucked it up, greed fucked it up, accept it, grieve and maybe demand slightly more out of the people that you pay for shit, don't just accept being a cog of a machine you did not consent to being in, don't be an object like they want you to, feel, think, reason, and most of all, treat yourself better my man, you deserve to enjoy a game you payed for without having to placate to some bs

I stopped playing because there's basically no sense of progression. Sure, I see the number for the "liberation meter" go up by 0.0003%, but thats it, aside from the 10000 missions to complete a battlepass.

Honestly the game really is one of the most fun games I've ever played but it gets stale really fast once you unlock everything there is to be unlocked

Considering most games are either pay to play/pvp copies rendered a different color lol, or big budget let downs that take 3 try’s to get it right, or remasters of old classics these days. This game stands out. There’s a weird camaraderie you don’t see these days. Yea definitely room for improvement like diverse missions, armor ratings, customization, etc. but they clearly are active in the community and adjusting. Give it time but I think this games got potential 🤙🏻 at least until gears comes out haha

Every game has its honeymoon phase where people love it by then leave while the hardcore fans stay, me personally I’m staying, but and average of 40,000 players is still a lot, so not dying, but calming down

Nah its definitely dying i slowed down playing when they kept nerfing guns i like. I used to put in crazy hrs but now i maybe play one or two rounds every other day. It sucks too cuz i maxed out the medals i could acquire but don't have enough super credits to unlock the last two warbonds. which is fine because from what I hear they already nerfed the best gun from the democratic demolition warbond and the arctic one is hella mid. Sony isn't even the thing killing the game it's their "balancing" updates. If it doesn't come to Xbox nobody will be talking about this game in a year from now.

It’s a natural decline for games like this. Likely working on bringing in the next new enemy. They will probably start doing events soon enough. I played the first HD off and on for years. Get really into it for 2-3 weeks then take a couple weeks off. Game is fine and still really fun.

Sony wanted psn accounts to ban people, when they faced backlash they just opted on banning 180 countries, yeah it was slowly loosing players but it still had dedicated ones, for sure the drama did not help at all

No incentive to play most weapons aren't worth getting and the ones u need u grind very fast cus hyper focus and overall progression would kinda be incentive but they just do a new region with rewards being medals which U don't need since u probably hyperfocurs the items u need already.
