Yeah, he is having to come to terms with the lifelong pain caused by decisions he made as a 13-year-old boy. It is so sad. I think the bio dad and mom's guardians are to blame here too. They allowed it to happen and then did nothing to guide either of them to being able to peacefully co-parent and it took 18 years for them to get any hope of a resolution to the situation. Such a shame.

Looks like mom met future husband and found A new father and wanted to push him out. Could he have tried harder yes, but the back and forth on the paternity is the cause for this.

I believe the man in the second case made a huge mistake by not providing financial and emotional support to his daughter. I have seen men so many times in real life who do not want the responsibility for a child (that looks just like them) that they know they created. They abandon that child and then when the child is an adult, they attempt to be there when it suits them. One of my friends had a father like that and he wanted to see her when he found out he had a terminal illness at which time she was in her thirties. The last months of his life she visited her father weekly because it seemed to be the right thing to do. She told me that she did not have a connection nor bond with him and that it was like visiting a distant cousin or something.

I have to comment on this show. The first guy is either blind or delusional. The second case, OMG..the mother was only 13 when she got pregnant with her ....the father was 14...that wasn't spoken about. How can you blame a child for not taking care of a child...the adults who left 2 hormonal teens alone at night who were not blood related are responsible for this mess. The mother at 13 had more than 1 partner, so something else seems to have gone on in this situation also. The father will be a father now, I'm sure of it, now he is at an age where he can and will be responsible.
