I think that baby mother knew it wasn't his all along... or at least knew it was a chance that it wasn't his. Case #1 - Although I have done some comparison between my grandkids & different family members on all sides, I never did it to find out who the Father was. I personally don't care! I can love all children, no matter the color, size, gender,... whatever! Including disabilities! Yes! I cried happy tears at my cousin's kids' graduations. She & her husband adopted 7 special needs children (all now are adult ages). And I look forward to getting my hugs from them (2nd best only to my grandkids)! & That's just one example. 👍🏼 Case #2 - There are babies who have been born without limbs & such. Google Life Without Limbs with Nick Vuyicic. He is basically just a body - period. Her not allowing him to see the little girl just because she doesn't like him at the time, is going to ruin her own relationship with her daughter. Not the other way around.

First case, *sigh* Miss Jemison appears to be a genuine young lady with a heart that is in the right place, it’s clear that she is not in the same category as some of the shamelessly trifling women we see all the time on Paternity Court. It’s a real shame Mr Caurthon Jr didn’t turn out to be the child’s father because the child clearly would have an amazing and supportive family behind her. Miss Jemison kept saying “it’s not fair” when the results were announced. But as difficult as it might be to accept unfortunately it is fair and it is exactly how it was meant to be. This is called the consequence of actions. I just hope Miss Jemison learns the lessons from this chapter in her life and moves forward as a better person for both herself and her child. She is clearly capable of it.

It doesn't matter. You don't know how DNA works, obviously. We get half our DNA from each parent. Exactly half. That doesn't change. Maternity is never in doubt. Birth records prove which woman is the mother. They don't even need to test the potential grandfather to prove if a child is related to the grandmother or not. Even if it proved there was a high percentage of relatedness between the grandmother & child, it only proves one son she gave birth was the father, not necessarily the one in jail. But it proved none of her sons could be the father. The mother chose the best option & when that best option is a father who's in jail, it doesn't say much for the other potential father or fathers.

We get our DNA from both our parents. With grandparent testing the reason they get samples from both is to work out what DNA comes from each. Even if the grandfather wasn't the biological parent, it would still show a positive based on the grandmother's sample. Taking both allows them to isolate what comes from each. Maternal DNA is what really matters because that can be proven from birth records. Its why maternal DNA is used to make formal identification of bodies that can't be identified any other way. Maternal DNA isn't wrong, ever, regarding relationship.

First Case: You have to agree, where a woman has slept with more than one man during the broad possible period of conception, no matter what they say, they simply do not know who the father is. We constantly hear women say "I am sure" and "I know he is the father". They'll find all sorts of things to support their belief, but they simply don't know. This woman says "I just know this is his baby". Then she goes on to outline all the reasons why she must be right. But women are no better than anyone else in knowing who the father is ... women's intuition is simply a complete myth. They just choose their best option, cross their fingers and hope they are right!
