The problem is not only rushing 3 but if you look, our Dline is lined up a yard away from the line of scrimmage even in short-yard situations. We are surrendering a yard before even the snap. opposing O-lines can get set in the blocking scheme before contact is even made. Im tired of this same ole Defensive scheme that the last 4 defensive coordinators have brought in. Who is making decisions on coaching hires? Seems very weird that 2 coaches and 4 different coordinators have the very same issues. Is someone making the decision to hire former buddies or something?

Freeze isn't a good x's and o's coach. He's good because he's a good recruiter. You can't expect good results with average talent. He's somewhere between Ed Orgeron and Les Miles. He'll keep getting good recruiting classes, and Auburn will continue to improve. Keep expecting to lose to inferior opponents on occasion though.

Sports contracts are a busted system and have been for years. It's bad business, and it's why you don't see this no performance guaranteed contract method applied anywhere else in business. Imagine going to your company and telling them that they are going to sign you to a 10 year guaranteed contract and regardless of your performance, they are required to pay you the full 10 years. Auburns defense looked a million times better, but the offense has them in a chokehold turning over the ball 5 times. Its hard to play for 50mins straight which is what is happening to the defense... The secondary looked way better we got pressure on Green, yes there was a bad penalty or 2 but that doesn't change the fact that the defense played great.

Even a couch coach knows what a poorly coached team looks like. The 3-9 team in 2012 quit and this team is on the verge as well. Former assistants come into JHS showing AU what a mistake was made by turning them loose. Embarrassing. I could put a better staff together by using past coaches. I personally didn’t think Caddy was ready (I hated the HF choice Day 1) but at least the players played hard for him and he seemed to have his heart and soul into coaching. Of course, AU sent him packing. Losers run our football program.
