If Indiana gets a top QB from the transfer portal it is to start. You only get them if he is paid and starting. I don't disagree with getting a QB but that will end Jackson's career at Indiana

No doubt that bringing in a more productive QB will leave us open to losing guys to the transfer portal. But that is the state of the sport. Obviously, programs need to focus on putting the best players on the field to be successful. Players no longer come to a program with a sense of loyalty. It's all about payday and playing time. They are athletic mercenaries. Just the reality.

If me I'd go get a 2-4 Ol, 2-3 dl, a good qb, 2-3 rbs, 2-3 wrs, 3 dbs, 3 lbs. Out of that I'd spend big on a QB and ol. Keep it reasonable with the D, still have solid amount returning unless they go portal.

He simply can’t sign that many because he’s already got 21 kids signed as freshman. Of course, depending on what happens, I’d say maybe 8 to 10 portal guys.
