Well said IDiscoverIRAN! Many of the travellers are surprised when seeing the greenery along the river in Isfahan. Loved the scenery at Marnan Bridge❤! We’ve been always wondering where this belief is coming from. Thanks for debunking another misconception!

Wonderful video, although I think you forgot to mention that Zayande Rud is dry most of the year in Esfahan... I think that is where the misconception comes from. But the spring images when the water flows downstream and reaches the city are truly beautiful!

Yeah you're right. Unfortunately, this had been the case in the past few years. But this year, the river has been flowing for most of the spring. Thanks to the excessive rain in the past few months. Thanks for commenting! 👍

It's interesting.. you can see freedom in these pictures, but why do they say there is no freedom in Iran?

It very much depends on one’s point of view and different aspects of “freedom”.

There are two types of freedom: the freedom that is included in the constitution of a country and the police and the government try to protect it, and the freedom that is not included in the constitution of a country and people have been fighting and killed for it for 45 years, and the police and The government detains and tortures people for not reaching it. The freedom you see in the streets of Iran is of the second type. The government did not give this freedom to the people, but because most of the people disobey the brutal Islamic laws, the government cannot deal with 85 million people.
