I live in Irvine and love it but lots of people that live in Irvine put their kids in private schools the public schools are no longer the best place to educate your kids!

I live in Irvine (25 year resident) and do not agree. Nothing to do in the immediate city besides shop, the food is generic chains (even Asian offerings are all chains), and extremely far from LA (where all the fun is). I’m moving to North OC to be closer to LA or Cerritos. Thinking Brea or Fullerton, both have some nice neighborhoods and only 35-40 to dtla. South county is overrated unless you enjoy living in a bubble. Only positive is proximity to the airport.

lived in Cerritos over 50 years, it's as nice as Irvine, but no home association or melaruse, Irvine has many home robberies lately, but we have them too. Same people. Best thing about Cerritos, is everything is close. 1/2 an hour drive to anywhere. 1 hour to Santa Monica. 1 hour during rush hour traffic to Irvine. Irvine has way too much traffic in Culver. Not sure why it's too hot in the summer. It would be nice if there were other cities like Irvine so they didn't focus on only Irvine. Best thing is it's safe for now and close to new port beach and laguna beach, closer to San Diego. John Wayne airport is near. Police are good but I am not sure about now. I have a nightmare Tenant in Costa Mesa, it's over 6 months and I can't get her out, not enough police to kick her out and she is laughing her head off at me. she has a business, it's a LLC so I can never go after her. Costa Mesa a city with drug rehab centers and where criminals can live until they are ready to move to the real world. Probably never.

@@RayQ101 I don't have any relatives in the US, but that sounds good. Since 2017, I am sure it is before this, everything seems to have gone upside down, Kamala pushing some prop 47 or so that had a police officer killed, then we get George Gascon, and they keep winning. Gaven is a nightmare also. They claim people are crazy everything is normal, sending people from South America to rob our homes isn't normal. They really move people around all over the place, from Haiti to Chile, no jobs, sent to mexico, trying to get in the US, they couldn't, so they stayed in mexico, while Venezuelans are over to Chile, Peru, mexico back to to the US.
