Doing an MBA in these times seriously needs deeper thoughts especially during the times when the fees is all time high (not just ISB) and job prospects looks grimmer than ever.

Agreed, however we do believe the macro economic climate to improve going forward.

so would you recommend someone, with 8years of experience (in US tax) looking to change roles but already at the average package of ISB, to join ISB or not?! Thanks !

We would recommend you to consider ISB. While, you may not necessarily see a great upside potential in the short term, intangible benefits would eventually compound, leading to long term benefits.

You've calculated using 30LPA salary but that's not the in hand salary
@Team_FLYАй бұрын
Agreed, but we didn't consider in hand pre-MBA salary for our analysis, thereby painting the correct picture. All the salaries mentioned are CTC (not in hand).

Quantitative analysis should take both best and worst placement scenario for both high earning and low earning admits. The impact of loan on career decisions and general well-being has not been evaluated. The analysis looks too lazy and simplified. In any case ISB fees should be at par with IIMs.

While conducting the quantitative analysis, we considered optimistic, pessimistic and realistic scenarios. However, in the interest of keeping the video concise, we went for the realistic scenario as this would apply to a larger number of aspirants. Your feedback on the impact of education loans is well taken. We would definitely consider covering this aspect in the subsequent videos. Thanks for the insight!

is it worth it to go for an MBA in 2024? will the placements be any better?
@Team_FLY9 ай бұрын
We anticipate the placements situation to improve in 2024, driven by expected interest rate cuts globally.
