The basic tenets of Islamic teachings are phobic of just about everything today's modern and western societies stands for : Free Speech, LGBTQ rights, democracy, secularism, women right, right to follow any form of belief, right to denounce or leave the religion you are brought up with, rational thinking, right to criticize any religious belief and by extension any religious figures, etc. etc. Explain this first before you talk about Islamophobia.

Yes it is a threat to the future of the United Kingdom and Europe. It’s inheritetly a tribalistic, expansionist religion aiming at dominating the globe with small radical groups aiming for population increases globally. They will always be their religion first before being British or European. Meaning the religious global or general issues come before a countries needs. The issue with being so triablistic is that if the population becomes big enough you have the division on the scale of Scotland and England or Ireland or Pakistan and India or Isreal and palistine which generally leads to conflict. If you have two groups with vastly different values on global issues ( who they would choose to be allies with globally), socially (lgbtq, women’s rights, general liberty that’s oppressed under conservative version) your going to have a divided society. In conclusion, the religion could destabilise the U.K., giving countries like Russia and Iran more power to exploit local divisions in communities and the manipulating the general direction of the country based on religious belief just as Iran has done in other countries.

It's not the commonalities that need discussing, it's the differences. Far right vs Islamic extremism - it's easy to find out the actuality of any potential or actual threat of either of these groups - just look at any organisation whos job it is to investigate threats. How many far right organisations have killed Muslims in the UK? How many non Muslims have been killed by Islamic extremist organisations in the UK? It's easy to find out, people are not stupid. It's easy to find out what Islam thinks about secular society or whether religion and state should be seperate. Easy to find the good and bad things about what can happen when a religion is predominant in a country. It is easy to present a welcoming face, friendly, etc...the unspoken words hang there...your long game plan tells a very different truth.... False players, lies and manipulation.... Was very, very impressed with this Imam when I saw his response to those horrific riots. A very calm, admirable and honourable man and so obviously a proper nice guy. But here’s the bottom line…under Islamic rule non-Muslims are given three choices…pay money to purchase their personal safety (that’s extortion), convert to Islam (regardless of their existing religious beliefs or lack of them), or get beheaded. Numerous guys doing Dawah (eg Mohammad Hijab, Dilly Hussain etc) have made those Islamic teachings very clear to the general public. Both of those men, along with others, including Sheikhs, have also spoken clearly about Islam being a ‘warrior religion’ with an ‘expansionist element’ where ultimately Muslims must fight Jews and Christians ‘simply because they are Jews and Christians, until they are subdued and pay the Jizyah’ (MH) and that Islamic involvement in social affairs and politics is a recognised method of conducting Jihad (DH). How anyone could think those things are not going to be a problem for non-Muslims is beyond my comprehension. It absolutely is a problem. And then there are things like the Yazidi genocide conducted by ISIS, the persecution, abduction and murder of Christians by Boko Haram and many other radical Islamist groups around the world. The standard moderate Muslim response of ‘they’re not Muslims’ or ‘that’s un-Islamic’ cuts no ice with non-Muslims, the potential victims of such barbarity. So I’m sorry to say, the cat’s very much out of the bag chaps…within the Muslim community there is a significant minority of people (scholarly estimates 15-25%…so up to 1 million persons in the UK) who share these fundamentalist views. Also, there are currently some 39,000 radical Islamists on the MI5 Terror Watch list. One has to wonder if that includes people like Scraps (Siraj) someone who has openly expressed his hatred of Kuffar on social media. Given such numbers we can be sure such views aren’t exclusively his. So as pleasant and well intentioned the guy making the video clearly is…his question is redundant. The wider British public absolutely do see Islam as a threat now, and every act of radical Islamist violence committed anywhere in the world in this Information Age only serves to confirm that view.

@@RAAAHUM So, historically, the percentage has varied, from as little as 5% to as much as 80% (the latter, strictly speaking, being a land/agricultural produce tax levied on wealthier non-Muslims called Kharaj). Rates of 20% were apparently not uncommon and were generally twice that of Muslim Zakat in the relevant country. But this is about so much more than numbers…it’s about context and principle. Firstly, it can obviously only be imposed in a country under Islamic control, so the measures of achieving that control must be pursued successfully…that is social, political and ultimately violent Jihad. Once that control is established, historically, punishment for non-payment has included imprisonment of the offending male dhimmi and enslavement of his family (his wife and children are given to a Muslim man to be used as he sees fit, including sexual slavery of his wife). In recent history, ISIS fighters, living out fundamentalist Islam, and having murdered Yazidi men in large numbers, proceeded then to enslave Yazidi women and young girls, sold them to one another over time, and subjected them to sexual slavery…grape. The testimony of some of those women is available on KZbin, others remain in captivity to this day. The ultimate penalty for non-payment is of course beheading. Islamic scholars have also made clear that paying Jizyah is, among other things, a tactic of humiliation, that it is to be paid personally and in a servile manner, as a testimony of subjugation from the conquered to the conquerer, the purpose of this being to ‘encourage’ conversion to Islam. By contrast, in the UK, if I fail to pay my Council Tax (successor to the Poll Tax…Jisyah is a poll tax) I can expect a Court Summons, possibly a fine, or (in a minority of cases) up to three months imprisonment. My wife and children will not be taken into slavery and at no point will I be at risk of being beheaded. That’s because I live in a tolerant liberal democracy, not an authoritarian Islamic republic. And personally, I’d like it to stay that way. ‘Pay us money, or convert to our religion, or we’ll decapitate you’ is NOT a legitimate policy proposal to the non-Muslim mind. Like I said, it’s not just about the numbers.
