Is Israel a 'Settler Colonial State'?

Ofcourse it is a settler Colonial state. What is the birthright law in Israel ? What are the settlements in the West Bank ? If Israel is a democracy how can it allow equal rights and citizenships to Arabs and keep itself as a Jewish state. If the Arab become the majority they will no longer be a Jewish state so they have clear rules and laws to prevent that. It's a racist colonial apartheid state.

@@BobOConnor-el8up 1. 20% are Arabs but there are many laws that prevent Arabs from becoming the majority. If That 20% became 60 % it would no longer be a Jewish state. So in order to preserve its Jewishness it inherently need to have racist laws in place. 2. The birth right law is applied to Jewish citizens differently than Arab citizens and non jewish citizens. 3. The law of return is definitely racist because it only applies to Jews. The millions of displaced Arabs during the Nakba do not have the right to return under the law, but Jewish people with no tie to the land for the last 20 generations can return and become a citizen. Most of them time taking some Palestinian persons home. 4. The surrounding Arab states do not have a huge wall (apartheid wall) up blockading millions of people who were indigenous to the land in an open air prison that were displaced in the last 100 years. They do not have a minority population within their countries subjugated to discriminatory laws, forced evictions, a legal and judicial system that favors one group of people over another and all kids of other subjugation of a minority people. 5. Settlements are a continuation of Israel policy to forcibly displace the Arab population and replace it with Jews. So it clearly shows the jews we're not native to the land but have mass migrated from Europe and around t he world in the last 100 years forcibly displacing the indigenous people .

So true, it's exhausting! The people who founded israel and the zionist movement even themselves described it as colonialism. The organisation that transferred European Jews to Palestine was called the Jewish COLONISATION Association!!! Its a settler colonial state and uses violence to subdue, control and routinely slaughter the natives for over 76 years. Still to this day seizing their homes, villages farms and lands like they did in 1947. The first village they attacked was Balad al-shaykh in 1947 and it never ended. 💔

@@anisah2066 That explains the Hebron massacre in 29' now doesn't it? It also perfectly exemplifies the major religion of Arabs that specifically call for eternal war with Jews until even the rocks and trees rat them out. But what it doesn't explain is how Jews can be colonizers of their own land, especially with Arab Jews being a part of that plan. Neither does it explain the claim of a separate "indigenous" population that repeatedly asserted itself as "Arab", with even modern representatives claiming roots in Saudi and Egypt.

Long before Jews settled the land the goals of zionism stated a mass transfer of arabs in order to create a Jewish majority. But they were never "indigenous" in the first place! They walked through the Bering Strait during the last Ice age 11,500 years ago into North America BUT it is well documented amongst many tribes that there was a race of larger people who were very violent and even hunted the Indians for food! After a time, a lot of Indian tribes banded together to fight these people and won! But let's get one thing straight. ALL races are guilty of taking others land, food, weapons, clothes, and took slaves including the American Indians! The Israelis were there from 1000 AD to 925 AD before they got expelled! And it's only been since 1967 that they got SOME of their country back! But hey, that's the way it's been since modern humans have been living for 300,000 years!

They absolutely did. Look up, The Jewish National Fund. This was an organizion set up to purchase land in Israel during the Ottoman and British era before 1948. The only lands that were technically under palestinian ownership that is a part of israel were those from palestinians who fled, sometimes forced during the war, which came after th palestinians rejected the state of israel
