One thing I noticed about the blue ones is they look way better with the black top and fenders. Otherwise its just too much blue.

That’s a really noisy cabin but that’s the cost of having a vehicle with a removable roof and doors.

Gladiator is what I wanted before they even made it. My 2015 JKU was what I got five years ago, used and fun but gave me additional utility over the vehicle I replaced. 😎👍🏼 Thanks for the video.

It was real obvious you knew very little about the Mojave. "Jeep stuff" made it abundantly clear.

It was more of a truck review than a jeep review. And we've never really been into just reading off the specs. Anyone can read an online brochure for that. Our goal is to give the viewer an idea of what a vehicle feels like to drive in everyday situations. When someone can't touch feel or hear the vehicle in person we hope our videos are the next best thing. Thanks for watching!

I want one, don’t want to pay for it though.

That's quite a conundrum...or is it more like a dilemma? Not sure. ;-) Sure, a Gladiator Mojave expensive, but prices of OTHER trucks are pretty high, too. And Jeeps aren't going to get any LESS expensive next year, are they? But what new vehicles don't? Some trucks cost WAY more than a Gladiator...THEY are gonna go up even more, too. So If one DOES want a Gladiator, they'd better get it NOW: Prices for 2022 models are expected to go up big time, party because of the computer-chip shortages which may go on for some time, causing factory delays and rising costs passed on to the buyer -- us. I took my own advice: Couldn't get my Chevy Colorado ZR2 (parked at the factory for almost 3 months now due to the chip-shortage crisis, with no ETA date available from GM) so I bailed on that and went with Plan B: A Gladiator Rubicon (more appropriate here in Colorado than the Mojave would be). Yes, eventually GM WILL finish building (and ship) "my" ZR2 to a dealer/customer, but it'll be someone else driving it, not me. Now, instead of a "vaporware" ZR2 -- same story for STILL not out there yet Ford Broncos (stupid Ford) -- I HAVE a new Daily Driver...cost ~$11K more than the ZR2 did, but still, I'm not at all concerned. And if I couldn't GET a ZR2, then what does it matter even if they were GIVING them away? It doesn't. Besides, we really CAN "afford" more than we think we can. Life is short -- get what you want. -- BR

@@billredding2000 I suppose it’s all a matter of perspective sir. I could talk myself and my wife into a note, but putting down $20,000 and still paying over $600 a month over 72 months is a bit much in my opinion. My Xterra is worth maybe, maybe, $8,000 and can go anywhere I’d be willing to send it..... but it doesn’t look as good as the Jeep..... why are these marketers so good at what they do?

@@vegasxventures Well, I did kind of what you suggested: Put $21K down (my trade-in) and financed the rest ((just over $32K) for my 2021 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon. "Only" $32K for a 2021 Gladiator Rubicon ($295 (?) extra for its Hydro Blue Pearlcoat color notwithstanding)? I'll take it! The way I looked at it, I had already paid for the trade-in, and so any $$ gotten from it was "already used/free money," so to ME it was like getting "$21K off" on a $50K (WAS $54.705 MSRP -- as configured/optioned -- but got it down to $50,263) Rubicon. Not TOO bad I'd say...could have been way worse! As per usual, they ripped me off on my trade, but that's SOP for the thieves, isn't it -- that's why they're called Stealerships," yes? Plus, for "logistics" reasons (and others) I couldn't sell it to a private party -- or even CarMax -- and get a bit MORE $$ for it. So I just took the trade-in hit, but made up for it (a little bit) on a better price for the vehicle, and only had to finance $32K (48 month loan (did NOT want a longer term!) @ 1.89% comes out to $711/mo @ USAA Bank, which even beat my 3 credit-unions (one was 1.99% though) and 2 other banks)...but given the interest rate was low, even if I do NOT pay it off early (as I usually do with accelerated pay'ts on the principle), I'm fine with that for 4 years. And @ my stage in life, 4 years time will FLY by (IF I live long enough to pay it off). ;-) When my "In Transit" 2021 Chevy Colorado ZR2 was not going to arrive anytime soon -- I had already been waiting over 2 months for it and GM "couldn't" given me any ETA date, as it was (apparently) parked with 20K other Colorados at the GM factory in Wentzville, MO, waiting for their computer-chips to be installed so they could be "finished" and shipped -- but still, GM "didn't know" WHEN! So I bailed on the ZR2 (got my $1K "hold it" money back) and got the Jeep (within 2 days, one off the lot -- ZERO ZR2s on any Chevy dealer lot)...even if it WAS ~$11K more then the ZR2 was if. But if I couldn't GET "my" ZR2 then it didn't matter even if it were FREE, did it. ;-) And no, I did NOT want a Toyota Tacoma TRD Pro...or a FULL-size truck (Raptor, Power Wagon, TRX, etc), was only looking at the MID-size segment.... Whatever, I WAS going to get my "serious" 4x4, period. And given I'm in my 70s, life truly IS short...so I got what I wanted...even if it was Plan B. ;-) But yes, we all have different situations, and married people with families are different than a single guy/no dependents. Still, lots of people with families DO get "expensive" (which is relative, yes?) vehicles, so I'm just saying I've seen people who seem to say REGULARLY they "can't afford" something, when in realty they CAN -- they just won't. That's fine, but it wasn't be cause they COULDN'T. BTW, since Jeeps hold their values pretty well, I'll get a good part of my money back (if I don't keep it longer than 4-5 years)...so I'm not concerned about "resale value" or such. BTW, re: "looks" -- I've never cared much about a vehicle's "looks" as to me that's just cosmetics. Meaningless. And DECADES ago, I stopped caring what was "cool" -- or not. What I DO care about is capability/performance, and my Gladiator Rubicon is probably the most "capable" mid-size truck right out of the box...maybe even more than any full-size truck. That'll do for me here in the (sometimes) "Frozen North" (Rocky Mountains of Colorado)... Were I still living in West Texas (desert area, El Paso, TX, to be exact), I'd likely have gotten the Gladiator Mojave, instead. BOTH are really nice/capable Gladiators. Happy Xterra-ing, -- BR
