Hi! Nice review. Is it possible to choose the desired temperature in modes h1, h2, h3? or only in eco mode? Or at what temperature is it indicated that it heats in mode h1, h2, h3? Thanks in advance!

Hello Eric. I am in the market for a space heater for my son's room. Its a pretty big room. My worry in regards to this model is that it might get too warm in the room. I was wondering if I should look at a smaller Dreo so that the room doesn't get uncomfortably warm. You mentioned in one of your comments that your garage got too warm. Also, our house was built in 1940, so even now if his heater is on and I start the dryer it sometimes trips the breaker. Both are on the ground floor. So I am concerned about the wattage being too much. Thank you! Pat

I think it'll work great. Mine only got too hot because I had it set on H3 which is the highest mode. Now I set it on H3 just to quickly heat up the space and then I turn it down to H2 or H1 depending on the temps. You can also just set it to the desired temp and it'll automatically shut off, this way the room never gets too hot At its highest mode, it draws a little over 1100 watts. Much less on lower modes. My garage breaker is pretty finicky as well and I havent had any issues. What that being said, check the amperage for the breaker. A dryer+Heater on the same breaker will typically trip in any house as thats too much combined wattage. On average most breakers can only do 15 or 20 amps, which is about 2000-2400 watts. If you have any issues, just turn the heater down to the lowest mode when you're using the dryer and that should resolve it.

Yep. should be more than enough. I used it in my garage 2 times so far on 40 degree days. I had to turn it off eventually as it was starting to get too hot in the garage..so it definitely works!

Not quite. Efficiency and how they operate have a role as well. I have another 1500w heater that just radiates heat and this one with the built in blower heats the room a lot faster.
