We get these in Canada regularly, I'm not a big fan of dill pickle on a corn chip. They don't make my favorite flavor anymore, old Dutch dill pickle in a box. I ask them to bring it back on Instagram all the time!

This was the first time I'd had it on a tortilla chip, I was a little surprised it worked. I like dill flavor in a lot of things, though. Heinz has a dill ketchup out that's pretty good (though it's cheaper to just mix dill weed into regular ketchup.)

@ChrisShadowens the trailer park boys dill pickle chips were just dill weed and salt, it was confusing to me.

All 3 were a disappointment, as I recall the reviews, though dill & salt might sit well with me. 🤔

@@ChrisShadowens That's the thing, that should be an ok flavor, but it's an established flavor here. I just did a review of an American fast food poutine, it's not just gravy, it's poutine gravy, and that's where most restaurants will fail. Also I spell flavor, flavour and KZbin keeps correcting me even though I'm right, Canada has some different spelling.

I want to know more about that thumbtack
@ChrisShadowens3 ай бұрын
2nd or 3rd grade, in class, I had a thumbtack in my mouth, I don't know why. I was sticking the point through the gap between my top front teeth, I was a bit bucktoothed then. At one point, it slipped and hit the back of my throat and before I could grab it or cough it up I'd swallowed it. I remember standing up and trying to get my teacher's attention but as I did, down it went. I went to the drinking fountain at the back of the classroom, gulping down some water, worried I'd choke on the tack, obviously just further washing it down. Then I went back to my seat. I didn't tell anyone, definitely not my mom, hoping it'd be fine. I'd swallowed pennies and doorstop caps as a younger kid and they "passed through", which I assume happened to that thumbtack. I definitely didn't suffer any ill effects or injuries from it and figured I was in the clear a couple days later. I don't think I've ever told my mom that story so keep it under wraps. 😆

I want to try these but I’d want a smaller bag. I’m also in a pickle. But no big dill

I haven't seen any gherkin-sized bags but I'll keep an eye out. 🥒😁

I used to love pickle chips as a child, but I don't think it's something I'd jig with today... but the idea of pickles is always worse than the actual thing for me so who knows. If I stumble upon these I might consider it
@ChrisShadowens3 ай бұрын
I'm quite the opposite, I love a good dill pickle. These were the first dill tortilla chips I tried, usually they're potato. There was a place back in Los Angeles, Johnnie's Pastrami, where they'd give you a bowl of homemade dill pickles for the table when you ordered, like how Mexican restaurants give you chips & salsa. I like dill weed, too, I put it in tuna or egg salad, ketchup, scrambled eggs, etc.
