Sorry Cars and Trucks are made by humans and we are prone to mistakes whether it is a programming error or a missed step in assembly sometimes things happen, We humans also breakdown from time to time....Doesn't mean the whole brand is bad . Love my Titan Zero issues and less issues to worry about knowing it’s a pure v8 no cylinder deactivation and a 9 speed transmission is perfect for on road and low speed off-road. Seats are the best on the market and the only complaint I have is no pedal adjustments and the low speed camera needs to come up in speed to say 15mph instead of 7mph The bed step and tie down tracks are amazing and I think it should be standard equipment in every truck

Too much of this was comparing this luxury trim model to your “work” trim model truck. A lot of the things you like about this truck are standard across brands, so while sure, they are worth mentioning, but touting those things as “pros” feels off.

@@landminehopscotch3617 yes it's a great truck. I looked all of them and you get so much more features and at fire sale prices. Even the XD is a lot of truck for the money. Before the pandemic, I got them down to $43k on an XD SV 4x4 midnight edition with the diesel. (I didn't get that one) If you tried to find anything like that at ford, chevy, ram try $65k+ and you still wont get things like power slider or apple play more than likely and it will have a lot more hard plastics. I have heard a few horror stories about the titans but so far so good. By the way my prior truck was a Tundra and I looked at the new '19 tundras and at the time they didn't even have push button start. They were really behind on the tech.

@@landminehopscotch3617 The reason I will most likely sell at the first sign of trouble even if it's under warranty and also the reason I will most likely not buy another nissan even if I don't have trouble is because there's only one dealership in town and they're terrible. I bought the truck at a dealership 2 hours away and when I had the battery replaced it was the next closest dealership about 75 minutes away. It's lack of dealerships if there's a problem and it's not a lexus, they don't give you a free loaner car or even have a car rental on site. It's also not like I can take an uber home from that distance, believe me, I've tried. Sort of the same problem with toyota although I haven't lost all confidence in the local toyota dealership.

A nine-minute Nissan ad. The 'features' you highlight are available in any of the major truck brands. Nissan as a company is dropping in quality overall and I wouldn't consider one. UPDATE: As I said, Nissan, AS A COMPANY, has dropping quality. The Titan and Frontier have been somewhat the exception to that statement. Any car company has good and bad models and good and bad years. I was referring to their overall quality, reliability, and longevity.

@@daveklein2826 If you had some experience, you would know how stupid your brain is behaving. Most building contractors and tradespeople in general who actually use their vehicles to work out of instead of plastering them with lettering and waxing them up to peacock around town have construction caps installed with racks on top for lugging lumber, ladders, pipes/tubing, steel, etc. No different than a van. I've used both for decades. I also have enclosed trailers. They're a nuisance to lug around everywhere, and can't be left on site anywhere without the risk of being stolen or broken into. If you don't drive a van, then at least use some of your brain and get a proper truck cap so you at least look like a professional worker instead of a professional mouthpiece.

Short bed trucks might be okay for a contractor that subs a lot of their work out and doesn't do a lot of the work themselves. But for a tradesperson or carpenter or sub that needs to haul material and tools to the job site I find them to be pretty much useless. Boards and plywood hanging out the back end is a non-starter for me. I don't care about Apple Airplay or dragging my family around during the week or taking my wife out in the truck. Finding a long bed stock off the dealer lot is getting harder and harder to find and that is annoying.

What’s with all these negative comments? The Nissan Titan is extremely underrated, and Nissan is obviously trying to get people to try it for themselves rather than spewing all of the nonsense about the big three being better. As for practicality when it comes to tradesmen the short bed might be a problem, but there’s always the Titan XD with a six and a half foot bed and a little more towing capacity. I called the dealership and was able to talk to a salesman who owned a Titan. He said to put the lever in neutral, and move the 2wd to 4wd high, and to 4ws lo. Now switch it back to 2wd. place the lever in reverse and then drive. After this it worked... Not sure if anyone has experienced this...

Its the cargo carrying capacity that is most important, not towing capacity. You will run out of cargo carrying capacity long before towing capacity when towing a trailer. Should be a yellow sticker on drivers door post that list's the CCC (cargo carrying capacity) as built. You need to deduct from that number your hitch, the hitch weight of the trailer loaded with batteries and propane, any cargo in the truck and the weight of any passengers. Towing capacity would be if you were hauling a hay wagon, with wheels at the corner and little weight on the hitch.

Man, i read the comments before I watched the video and I thought this was going to be a blatant ad, but after watching the video, I thought it was a pretty fair and informative review. Idk what it is with full size truck drivers, but they all seem to get their little egos hurt because someone gives compliments to another brand of trucks. Matt never mentioned any other brands or anything and we have people from all brands here being all offended and telling us why their trucks are better. It’s odd.

Efficient and high-performance living includes your house and your vehicles. Another empty pickup truck doesn't cut it, Matt. Professionals buy vehicles they need, with features they use regularly. The flashy lifestyle advertising shouldn't be a factor, but of course it is - that's why most light trucks are empty.

The Titan is a rebadged Ram, made for Nissan by Ram. Which makes it far better than the first gen Titans. I even like the styling, better looking than the Rams. That truck would be good for your needs, but with the tiny bed, and tons of gadgets maybe not the best for a beater 'work' truck.

Sure as Quint never putting on another life jacket, I'll never buy another Nissan. At the 5 yr mark, my Nissan Frontier started to fail. At first it was small components; heater rheostat, window switch, tailgate cable, followed by premature failure of fuel injector, catalytic converters and a rusting gas tank which was covered by so-called secret warranty.

Builders need a rack of some sort. RAM has an excellent split tailgate that is a joy to use - no more reaching and pushing across the tailgate to get materials from the bed. Air ride, load levelling suspension is also great.

It'll be replaced with another old truck that some yuppie peacock discarded because they have $70K to throw away. $70,000 CAD for this thing. I wouldn't give them $10,000. It's just a gd truck, boys.

Yes, great for creators getting the product/$. However, how many builders can really justify dropping $70K CAD on a work truck? I've been doing this for 23 years, I've never owned a new truck let alone one that cost half as much as my home. Content like this is geared toward a minority who can afford to throw $ away, which is probably less than 10% of his audience. To everyone else, it's just peacocking and isn't helpful. Discouraging, even. Most people will never be able to afford this. He might as well be showing off a new supercar for all the good this information is going to do for folks.

The future is electric. The Tesla CYBRTRK with its all stainless steel body will be a game changer. Everyone has had problems with a FORD, GM or RAM trucks rusting out. Even the frames rot out. The CYBRTRK will be a lifetime truck. The motors and battery are rated for a million miles. Less fuel costs and less maintenance will make it a winner for any business.
