Yes we Hindus have become very sensitive. We once laughed on theatres watching PK mocking Hindu deities and now boycotting such movies It's good that we are now in right direction . Suicide of SSR was trigger point aginst bollywood and people became very active. So other wings started exposing double standard of Bollywood ( eg religious partiality etc ) as people were very offended. Earlier we ignored what they portrayed to our culture but now we are very proactive.
