Thank you for info, I thought I knew it all but you just corrected me. Now I will fix problem. A few questions : do you uncap 4mm worker bee cells that were made into worker bee drone cells and destroy them and let bees clean it out? Or scrape down to center of frame? Or feed frame to chickens? Will worker bees drones mature if laid in 5mm drone cells, possibly fly out and mate with a queen and cause a future problem with her laying? I knew a few colonies were queenless and I've been attempting to requeen but haven't been destroying those frames with messed up drones. Thanks

I have a question off topic. Do drones release themselves from capped brood or do they have to be released by workers ? I have looked all over online to try to find an answer to that and have not been able to find one.

Hello Hank! Thank you for your question! Drones are absolutely capable of releasing themselves from the capped brood. However, that is not to say that a worker won't provide additional help if needed. Hope this helps!
