@@kennychad2821 probable cause doesn't get them in without a warrant. and the real problem is that judges bend over backwards to try to accept one of the warrant exceptions. in most jurisdictions they dont even need to tell you why they entered your home without a warrant until discovery. so they have months where you sit in jail while they figure out a reason for violating your 4th amendment. if they cant figure one out, they will press you to accept a plea on whatever assault on officer charges they held you without bail for. then if you dont take a plea they will drag it out till the time to sue expires then drop the case. if you take a plea they are safe. if you dont, they still locked you up for a few years.

4 armed men attacked me ( a 4'11 98lb female) they accused me of being intoxicated which later my blood work proved 0.0% alcohol. They wrote a false statement saying they could smell the metabolized alcohol emanating from my breath. They forcibly cuffed me, forcibly shoved me in the back of their car and also wrote a statement saying I attacked them and broke their camera, which also later proved to be false since the camera was working from beginning to end. They unlawfully and illegally entered my vehicle and stole all my items in my vehicle and put them in the trunk of an unmarked vehicle 2 items were never returned back equalling about $600 in value. Again, this is 4 armed men at 4am in the middle of nowhere with no other witnesses to protect me. I was able to dial 911 to report this attack and they ran up to me and snatched my phone from my hands and broke the screen while I was in the middle of the call with 911. They had my vehicle towed and they locked me up for 3 days and my family didn't know where I was. 4 years later and 6 corrupt attorneys later. All 6 charges they had placed on me to include felonies were dropped. But I was never allowed to defend my case in a court of law. The reason why this lasted 4 years is because the prosecution was trying to get me to plea guilty to dwi even though the blood work said 0.0% alcohol. Talk about corruption. I never got any justice. Never got my stolen items back. Never had my phone repaired. Never got financially compensated, in fact I was charged with many fees. And I still have PTSD from criminals who emporsonate law enforcement while totally violating citizens and the US constitution.

We opened it and that same cop barged in with aggression and yelling. "WTF DID I SAY THE 1ST TIME?? SHUT THIS PARTY DOWN RIGHT NOW. HE WAS WALKING IN THE HOUSE AND SCREAMING AT EVERYONE." And I told him hes being recorded right now and I told him to get the fuck out. He sized me up and wanted to harm me so bad. I asked for his name and badge # and he told me to fuck off. Around 8-9 years ago, two cops from the local police department (this is in Texas ) tried to rush an apartment a few doors down from me. No idea why. They had no warrant (I could easily overhear the conversation). The husband of the family that lived there slammed the door in their face when he found out that they didn't have a warrant. They proceeded to try to break down the door. He called the sheriff's department about breaking and entering by two renegade cops. A sheriff's deputy lives close by in the same apartment complex. He got the call. He came over in less than a minute with a shotgun on the two cops and arrested them on the spot - they had entered the home by that time. They went directly to jail. They were both fired. This never went on the news. The only way I found out was my neighbor told me the police department issued a formal apology to them and let them know the officers were dismissed. I don't think legal action was ever taken against them.

If they don't -- call another LEO agency in your area and tell them you have someone claiming to be Law Enforcement but are attempting an illegal entry.

They exist. I work alongside quite a few of them. But they still have their bad apples too. The biggest issue is review bias. You are more likely to take the time to review an item that failed or was poor than you are for one that was good. Just like you are more likely to review a person who falters at their job than one who is good. This goes for all career fields. Yes, we need to focus on the cops who suck, but more importantly, we need to promote, identify, and celebrate the ones who rock, so that not only do we call out the bad cops, but the public and other offers can see the example of what a good cop looks like.

Two of my three good friends are actually law enforcement. One of them got a Harris County Sheriff's Department Lieutenant thrown in prison for stealing a bunch of County property. The other one is actually on a video he's a sergeant, running around on KZbin actually correcting one of his officers who was trying to ID the passenger in a vehicle. This happened to us! In volusia county. Our son violated parole. He used our address against our request...after working with the parole officer giving any address where he might be. The deputies came knocking on our door at 2am we knew we did not have to answer the door. Without a writ of search warrant but these los violated our search & seizure rights. Searched our property in back yard without pemission using very powerful lites, banging & pulling on doors trying to open them. Finally they came to the bedroom window peering in with their lites brighter than the sun! Could heard them mumbling among themselves.." hey there's the old man lying in the bed see him"? Finally after about 20 + minutes they left. Guess what? the same 2 returned at 2pm next day. They threated arrest for harboring a fugitive. Told them well that has to be proven. One saw a very expensive bicycle behind me as I cracked the door asking whose bike? Answered I just bought the bike for our grandson...deputy immediately shot back your son? I said no the person you want is 40 + yrs old and a fugitive I would not buy that person an $800.00 bicycle. Eventually the spokes person became less agitated. A kinder personality overcame his demeanor. We negotiated though the door way. I should've stood my ground yet, one must always weight the out come of when to stand and when to step aside. The deputy stated well, if if you have nothing to hid may we come in for a walk thru...then we will leave and enter in report you are not harboring. So they walked thru even into our religious sanctuary...even though they could tell it was just that. It all ended well. No harassment since, but in today's society with goverment departments interconnected harassment could always manifest on many levels. The police state is alive! our bill of rights are unknown to these indoctrinated lEOs. Its tuff for the petty criminal...they are treated like scum. Parole is a joke, just a way to intimidate and collect revenue. The petty criminals are many times forced back into crime because the system is against hiring an excon. Definitely no rehabitation in the system any longer. How do I know? My dad worked for 32 years in the federal division of corrections & close to ten years after retirement for the state prison system. It's far worse today then his time and rehabilitation usually didn't happen unless there were supervisors like Dad who pushed for it, created it, provided opportunities for those inmates who wanted it. All the other parasites wearing the badge taking the oath only saw a paycheck never a chance to change a person's life. Dad you were great! Luv ya! 19:40

That’s right, 99% of the time from watching badge cameras and viral videos most people will claim “I know my rights you don’t have the authority to do so and so…” though it turns out according to the law the police were completely lawful. But I do say 99% because man is imperfect and pages such as audit the audit pick up the 1% of rare circumstances where the police are wrong. I would emphasize you better be sure you are right, and it might be a better idea to save yourself some pain and just have a lawyer help you regardless if you think you’re right rather than risk being charged with assault or risking being hurt or killed regardless of who is right.

P.S. google "objective entrapment" (not just entrapment)... the average person is not going to leave their door open forever, no reasonable person would, with the only way to close it being to commit a battery because the officer intentionally placed himself in the way to prevent its closure.

You know how, that the LEOS didn't have Reasonable Suspicion that the wanted person MAY be inside how? If those two criteria are met that Arrest Warrant is all that is needed to forcibly, if necessary, enter that residence. Next the Defense of Entrapment (a Defense is raised at trial to a criminal charge after an arrest) requires that the LEO forces or compels you to commit a crime, that YOU WOULD ORDINARILY NOT Commit, merely threatening to arrest someone if they do something IS NOT enough. Now if the LEO said "IF YOU DON'T slam this door on my foot I will arrest you for ( a charge which generally must be false) and then arrests him for slamming the door on his foot, that would lead to a defense of entrapment.

Depending on the setup of your home and property, your back yard is legally fair game as well.
