Pile 4: I walked away to save myself. The times I was sad was a lot more than when the times I was happy and even if I was happy it felt forced and it wasn’t what I wanted. He was hurting me and I gave him so many chances. I thought that if I left, I was losing out on experiencing the good things and the potential of things getting better but my pain was a lot stronger than those feelings of hope and (false) happiness. I actually had the sense to pick 3&4 #4 made some sense we both felt we had to end our cycle. Things become difficult in the end and we realized the best was some space for clarity and to heal.
