If you're not Muslim that means more opportunities for you for bank job :) But for a Muslim anything related to interest is not allowed.. But he said Islamic bank.. if you know how Islamic bank works you'll like it.. coz it's not a burden for middle class people who take loan when the fail in business...

It depends on whether the business is halal or haram. For example, if I invest in an alcohol company where only profit is present then it is haram profit. But if I invest in a furniture company where only profit is present then it is halal. And there are some other exceptions as well. So could you elaborate further on what the business does?

If this is the case then why some scholars say you have to give zakat on the wealth. If the earning is Haram, shouldn't the Zakat be Haram as well if you are giving it from that wealth.

Beekay @brother there is a plenary dichotomy between zakat and interest. In simple words interest makes richer more rich and zakat makes poor to rich

Zakat becomes obligatory when you have a specific amount for an year, halal or haram is not a condition. You must pay if you meet the amount criteria. Same is the case with Prayer and Hajj. You must pray 5 times a day whether you earn halal or haram. Earning halal or haram is a serious matter which must be sorted out but that doesn't exempt us from the obligations.

Firstly make sure that you don't add music because all the music instruments except the duff and the tambourine are haram. Second, if you are a girl make sure you wear the proper Islamic clothing. It is better to not show your face in the video for Islamic reasons related to modesty. Thirdly don't put ads in your video because there are many ads on youtube which are haram such as ads where the women are not properly covered and sometimes even alcohol ads. One way to make money without ads is by sponsors and Patreon. And lastly don't sponsor haram companies.

What I know is if you don't have any other possible way to earn you can continue with bank n with all efforts you at the same time look for other job.. even if other job is paying you very less but you can feed your family with that you have to lv the bank job... You either have to compromise with this dunya or with your Deen.. you decide what's important to you..

No, it is haram because even in a Non-Muslim country there are many other jobs besides banking which are halal. I live in a Non-Muslim country and there are so many halal jobs.

What about Islamic countries whose state banks all deal with riba? What about islamic countries e.g. Egypt & Pakistan that take IMF loans that involve riba? How can you then work for any Fortune 500 companies as all of them issue bonds and raise money ? What about inflation ? If money is bring printed and created out of thin air ? All Islamic banks are bullshit, they all tie their profit rates to London Inter Bank Rates (LIBOR) and they never share loss ? Can you guide on all these aspects?

There are many scholars as well who don't approve of the Islamic banking system. But still this doesn't allow us to work fearlessly in a conventional bank. Look for another job, keep doing this job (if there's no other income source) and repent and think yourself guilty and sincerely search for an alternate job. That's what I heard from Scholars.

Suppose a person work in a bank dealing with interest but he is trying to find an option to quit his job and work in a non-bank company, regardless of how much salary he will get from new job. So he accepts the consequences. Till he finds a job is he allowed keep working in the bank ? Pl comment.

N depend on the person. .......how quickly he want to quit the job if he is damn serious and searching the new job in sha Allah he will get the job because of his faith on Allah. ....but till the time he didn't got the job. ...then he can do some other job which is halal. ........for tht period of time. ......because have u worked in bank. .which is Haram the time u know tht u should stop. .....

Modernist scholars do not accept that all interest is riba. Riba is about financial exploitation by unregulated moneylenders at the time of the prophet. Use your own common sense and determine if the employer you are working for is acting ethically or not.

Wow! A lot of Muslims are going to hell then. I know many women in Hijabs working in high street banks, men too! They obviously know this is haram but choose to ignore this, as I know many Muslims who have interest bank accounts and mortgages.
