Is it possible to charge an E bike with a Portable Power station? Bluetti EB55

Witam. Nabyłem sobie Bluetti EB55 w tym miesiącu wraz z panelem 200W. Super urządzenie. Aczkolwiek jakbym miał zaczynać swoją przygodę i zakupić coś ponownie od zera wybrałbym mocniejsze EB70. Nie jest dużo większe ale ma nieco większą moc. Dzięki większej mocy obsłużymy większą liczbę urządzeń. Pozdrawiam.

I am left wondering what happened how long did it take to charge the bike if it did you did not end the video now I am left to wonder till Friday. I know the one that's 1,000 would do way better if I had the money that's what I would have got if I was you and a 200 watt solar panel

Won't really work as it's inefficient. Your PV array is DC. You are converting to AC in an inverter and charger converts back to DC. You could charge a real battery like a 60v Sur Ron battery PV Direct. SOLAR CELLS DIRECT TO BATRERY THROUGH A STEP UP BOOST MPPT CONTROLLER. The Bluetti or solar generator method will deep discharge your Bluetti and kill it off quickly. If it has enough watts to even run the OEM charger. And if your solar generator is a modified Sine Wave inverter it will also kill your battery and charger off really quickly. Probably a Bluetti does have a Pure Sine Wave inverter it costs enough.. PV Direct to battery through a Elejoy step up type boost MPPT controller works flawlessly and much much easier.

I've just gotten myself the UK version of the EB3A, works amazingly for charging my ebike and my mates scooter while we're out and about!

The EB55 is quite an expensive portable power station having only two AC sockets.

And won't be able to charge real 60v 72v batteries. You will run out of solar generator power quickly with the losses from an inverter. Just forget inverter and use a step up type boost MPPT controller and do PV Direct. Way less expensive and just D.C. to D. C.

Standing in front of solar panels and putting an umbrella over them while it's actually raining ... I wonder why the panels were hardly charging ? Oh yeah they need sun ...

Hey Luke, I can remember asking you months ago about charging the e160-8000 away from mains power. Nice to see you sorted it out. My partner and I took our e160-8000s that we bought from your shop down to Thredbo recently. We reckon it was the best ever-from the flow trails to the TVT to the Mt Kosciusko summit. Where are you camping? We roughed it in a nice apartment in Thredbo for a week.

Yeah it works great! I’m sitting at a campfire right now. I’m on my 3rd camp of 4 over 2 weeks. Then one week at Thredbo resort then one week camping back!

Check your manual, you can turn off ECO Mode & change to 60Hz for more Power!

I want to buy the 300w model as it's on sale to charge my 500wh battery but I wasn't sure it would. I'm guessing it would be fine as your ebike is larger than the unit and doesn't draw too much

It's weird that they put a wireless phone charger on this, they're incredibly inefficient compared to just plugging the phone in.
