The wisest thought that is in everyone's minds today is to invest in different income flows that do not depend on the government, especially with the current economic crisis around the worldRetirement doesn't come with a specific requirement, people need to understand that having a right retirement plan is ideal and can help build a financial fortitude. Also, having a financial counsellor that will guide you through every process would be good, not just any expert but a very good one!

I consult with a New York-based advisor, Monica Mary Strigle. Sh is well renowned among my colleagues at work as a fixed income strategist and market analyst with an unorthodox approach to investing. Her AUM is ranging from 500B - 600B with over 1m clients.

This discussion has a lot of chit chat. I’d suggest to anyone interested in the question to fast forward to about the 35 min mark and go from there.

At 18:22 you mentioned reaching age 65 and "blowing through that first IRMAA threshold" isn't there a two year lookback so that age 63 is the first IRMAA threshold?

Question: Would you do the 100% conversion if you were 60 and had no spouse or children? In this scenario, the taxes would be paid from the IRA since it would occur after age 59-1/2. What would be the impact on Medicare, if any? Would there be any other impacts in this scenario beyond the one-time tax hit?

At 24:07 you mention the two year look back, does that confirm age 63 as the first year?

Yes, you have to watch your income starting in the year you turn 63.

Would you please do a video showing what lines on the Federal 1040 Form are used to calculate IRMAA?

I believe it’s your adjusted gross income and your tax exempt interest.

Sad that most of the time you don’t even add the single as a parenthetical. Almost always married filing jointly. Not only not serving singles, but also married that become single through death of a spouse.😐 It would take literally one or two seconds to mention the single number. Ugh this makes me hesitant to contact you if you are such cookie cutter. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve met with a potential advisor and just got fed up with constantly reminding them I’m single. You even said to your producer, “Yeah, we always reference the married numbers” and appear to be very dismissive about single people.
