Until they couldn't handle it and lost precious time with small children. Sold in 2019. Not that extraordinary at all.

Crazy they don't own the gates into the property. Shame the owner who doesnt share the obvious entry !!! Id build same exact copy of the entrance but three times as BIG ! 😅

Gosh, I enjoyed these episodes. Surely they have portrayed a happier demeanour towards renovating this whole place. Me as a project manager, need to learn how to adopt the lesser stress route to manage emotions hahahaha, learning from them. But I loved the ending. Oh oh, the gate part was actually very funny! I would really have done the same at least, better, so their front gate looks old. But I am sucker for festival lights, and if from the from gate into the property was lined with yellow warm festival lights, it would have been superb. But that's me ... Finally the reception hall, though bricked up - when adorned with flowers, looked mighty different. Thanks for the entertainment! Much love to the family ...

This was a major accomplishment to acquire this estate at that price. Well done , I am certain your pile will be popular and a outstanding venue. The property is absolutely breathtakingand will bring in handsome dividend congratulations.

It's now beautiful inside but I think the building itself is rather ugly. Not much architecture going on with this one.

❤ Thank you for this upload. I watched this family building the next property last year and Rise was shown briefly. I searched for this series desperately as I'm in Canada with no access to British television. So happy to finally see this ! So cute as well to see the boys so little. 😊

In New York and New Jersey $25k is dirt cheap for a 4 or 5 hour wedding venue 😆 closer to $100k is becoming average
@Nettietwixt8 ай бұрын
This was back in 2010 so I think £25k would have equated to about $40k maybe a little more. I would bet that for a big wedding it's just that for the venue and catering these days.

In 1990, it cost my parents $20K for 33 people at my very small, intimate, classically elegant wedding in NJ! Nothing over the top, actually very simple in a historical carriage house. Both our daughters weddings cost a fortune. Between the 2 it was closer to $200K than I'd like to admit to! One on the water and one in a country setting. Both simple, elegant weddings and yet cost us so much money! But it's ok, they're both happy with beautiful families.... Money well spent!!!

To each their own but my brother married in a forest and my cousin in her parents' garden and it was both times very charming. I don't see the need to spend tens of thousands for the "perfect" wedding in a morning coat / wedding gown you're never going to wear again and to have that stunning venue etc.

This is just astounding !! and a million percent exhausting to watch. I cannot get over this restoration. The babies! Those precious babies are so sweet to watch.But how do they manage it with the sheer volume of work to be done?How are they possibly accomplishing all of this? And where does the money for it come in? I said they had a budget of three hundred thousand? No flipping way they could do that on that budget.

Having sold off this property in 2019, Beeney didn't stick around long enough to transform this pile of bricks into the "stately home for our future" as she kept squawking on about. I think she might possibly tend to do this type of behavior on any project she takes on, it all seems pretty much for television, YT and maybe the occasional prime spot for DIY type of stuff. This couple would be the last I would ever consider hiring for a massive project like this, they seem totally incompetent and inadequate in all the aspects of planning. How TF can she call herself a "planner" and NOT know she has to have all sorts of permits, insurances, emergency status equipment, accommodation limits, occupancy limits, access, egress, glass safety, food safety, sanitation and water hazard safety? These are the rules and the governances that control this type of events, and IMO, she is skating dangerously close to maxing out all the acceptable permits and grievance regulations permitted for any type of private/public event offering. To not even be aware of or consider the safety and the welfare of guests, staff, workers, and all the other myriad numbers of people who she deliberately put into harm's way by her carelessness and inattention to standards and permits? She's dangerous. At the end, when she stands there, all smug and conceited about her raving success, she gives off the notion that she had it all under control from the first moment. She did not. They would never even make my list of people to consult for any event, I don't care if it was mud wrestling or a hot dog eating contest, this woman is anything but a professional. SHAME on her.

These places go to the dogs because NO ONE can afford to keep them warm enough to keep the mold, mildew and rot away. A normal stick built home has to be heated to some degree even when people go to a warmer place during the winter. You can't just shut the heat off and I very much doubt that these huge places are EVER WARM ENOUGH. Probably never were, even 50 years or a hundred years ago. Rot doesn't develop overnight, it takes years of neglect.
