I looooove riding in conditions like this on the Island. It completely changes familiar trails into something new and scary and exciting (and I'm not ashamed to admit that I need to tactically tripod down a lot of it). So fun.

Mountain Bike Matt, thanks for showing 4K footage of Vancouver Island biking. Do you keep Autofocus on usually? I am not going to lie though, but I enjoyed hated this video. The commentary is intriguing and the color grading is cool -- cool bike setup. Although your stabilization is bad because I can see micro jitters -- have you ever heard of gyro stabilization? It is interesting to see snow in Victoria What camera setup do you use btw? I would appreciate if you check out my recent videos and provide HONEST feedback. I am trying to improve my HDR performance. Subscribe if you enjoy :)

Haha, I think there's something in the video, might just be the angle of the camera that makes it looks weird, I don't think it's like that irl 😅

As far as traction goes, wet BC snow = dicey. Dry snow + frozen ground = lots o grip.

Very true. As long as you have a trail that keep going down, the grip is there (hiding under all the snow)
