Tee, I appreciate your honesty when it comes to this case! I'm HYPER critical on cases that area $59+, and that's why it's hard for me to recommend/buy cases such as Casetify. However, at least with Casetfiy you're getting: awesome fit, really strong magnets for MagSafe, premium materials and protection, with customization opportunities. Because of that, I can see why people buy cases that expensive. UAG has to do better at that price point!

I bought the carbon fiber one for $60 on black Friday at Best Buy, but returned it after getting the Rebel. It has better magnets,slimmer profile and snug fitting

Got this for my 13 pro max,, love this case, I don’t use MagSafe so ain’t bothered, the sides aren’t lose at all. Got rid of my otterbox XT for this case, the XT well slippery and hardly any camera protection,

UAG is really pricing their cases high. I know they worth it but I would buy them retail as it is a lot of money to shell out for a case that adds bulk. Just my opinion though.

@@TechnicallyTee yep. My wife is using a plasma case on my her android phone and the fit is kinda snug. I’m thinking that due to materials getting expensive nowadays, UAG opted to use a different one this time for cost cutting so they can price their cases on the not so expensive tier.

Great review man! I feel the same way about my UAG Monarch Pro case for my iPhone 14 pro. The side fit and MagSafe are terrible. I do not trust the MagSafe strength with my car mount one bit. I’ve been trying out different cases but I keep finding myself going back to my symmetry plus!!

problem with the UAG monarch is its too sharp on the inside, it scratched my iphone, sharp edges of the plasticy mateerial inside, they shouldve put foam cushions like spigen rugged armor did. this is a expensive case yet they didnt do anything to protect the inside part of the case for the phone to be well protected from scratches

I’ve a iPhone 14 Pro and my sister an iPhone 14 Pro Max. It’s dependent on what you want. I have massive hands that are about the size of NFL wide receivers and yet that phone is way too big for me to comfortably use. Owning an iPhone 12 Pro Max for like 2 years I’ve come to hate that I can’t comfortably use the phone one handed so I went with 14 Pro and I haven’t regretted it one bit. Battery life is same as 12 Pro Max and I never worry about it when I charge it every night. It depends what you value, comfort or more screen for viewing/gaming & larger battery.

I mean the pro max is the cream of the crop if you want me to be honest with you. There’s a reason almost all content creators use the 14 pro max in all their videos, it’s the highest tier iPhone you can buy.

Here’s how I see it when comes to the UAG Monarch Pro case. The case itself has a nice design looks sharp and good amount raise for the front screen & camera for protection. Far as protection goes, if your buying this case solely for drop protection, then your not going to be disappointed this case does it’s job very well. However, if your buying the case because your a MagSafe freak then your going to be very disappointed. The MagSafe for the Monarch Pro is pretty much trash cause of weak magnets. Is the UAG Monarch Proworth buying overall? Yes and No. Yes it’s worth buying for the drop protection, but again if your buying for MagSafe then no it’s not worth the price your paying for, especially since it’s suppose be primarily a MagSafe case.

I have the Monarch Carbon for my 14 Pro Max. I’ve dropped this phone a few times & the case has done well with holding up. I will say the lack of the sides being sturdy definitely made me feel leery with the phone, but the case has not failed me yet. I agree, $75-$80 for this case is crazy, but it has done its just so far.

Has anyone else had problems with apples official MagSafe battery pack working with this case ? I’ve tried 2 different cases and the battery pack clicks on starts charging then stops. Then will start again. I also have 2 battery packs and they do the same

Man, that was a great and honest review. I don't like UAG as they get lots of dust underneaths which scratches the corners of the phone beause of the friction, but like their look. Currently searching for case for my new S23 Ultra and probably will try Supcase UB Pro this time.

I use to love UAG but their quality has gone down bad. The Monarch Pro is overpriced, the MagSafe feature in the case is poorly design and MagSafe accessories (minus the charging puck) have a very weak connection to it, the case doesn’t have a very tight fit and the edges of the case have too much give. It’s really terrible.

I have this case and its magsafe is really bad since I like using a grip like rhino shield grip max. The case is also not very comfy to hold since it's bulky and Its fit is also not the best so I was extremely disappointed. I used to buy the monarch for my previous phones(galaxy 20, and ultra 21) but the quality went downhill imo or maybe it's this one specifically for iphone 14PM.

I've done a couple of case reviews on my own channel and I've stated that while some of these cases are rather pricey, you have to look at it from your phone perspective, and what I mean by that is, How much did you spend on your phone? And the typical answer will be $1000 or more, to spend $80 or even $100 on a case is worth it if it does what it says.... because at the end of the day, even if the case breaks, but your phone is still perfect. Then I would much rather shell out another $100 then to have to buy a new phone for another $1000 or more that's how I look at it

This case is not worth it for the money, the sides are way to stretchy and the MagSafe is not strong enough. Some cases cheap cases on amazon that are like 20 to 25 dollar price range have better built quality then this. My top cases are the Pitaka mag EZ bro and the Phone rebel cases.
