I just happened to have this song suggested to me by Spotify. I enjoyed it so much that I came to KZbin to look for any lives versions the band had played. Within those search results I also saw a few covers, including this one. This is truly one of those rare gems that you come across when you fall down a rabbit hole. At first I was a bit hesitant, thinking this would be another half assed acoustic I'm so thankful i was wrong. Your ability to control the softness and intensity of your vocals turns this song from the meloncholic song it is, to one thats still meloncholic, but instead of the feeling being that of ex-lovers, it feels more like remembering a mother who sings to you And I am proud to say that that thought brought some tears to my eyes.
