Sandra is running her mouth because her husband was not jobless, broke and suicidal AND her child did not have a fatal medical issue that a huge amount of money could have sorted out. Our problem as Nigerians is that we are incapable of wearing another person's shoes. We have become desensitized that when we open our mouths to complain ingratitude spews out incessantly. Stop arguing Sandra, you have no case and no point. BTW, I love the way Innocent gets his point accross so eloquently.

If you need help, go to anybody you consider helpful. Whether your ex or not, he or she is still a human being, if he or she chooses to help you out, be thankful and if he or she doesn't help just on the basis that things didn't work out the way you guys wanted it before you parted ways then he or she is UnGodly. As a woman, I really understand where the man is coming from. A married woman after trying many options couldn't get help even from the church can definitely reach out to an ex because its a serious issue and not a casual issue...and it is true God can use anyone to render help...the moderator I think shows bias. Anyway interesting show

Mr Innocent clearly won the debate, there is always a reason why we meet people in our lives, either for good or bad, asking your ex for help in time of dire need is not wrong at all provided there is no uterior motives. What if your ex has gone beyond your level for his liking? Everything thing get level naow.....

@Chidera Makatah I told you whether open or secret ex boy friend ex girl friend, you don't understand body chemistry when it comes to ex. From that one help strong relationship will start again, the chances of that relationship to lead to something else is more than 85%. Let me ask you a Question have ever come under temption in your live? See your self doing what you know that is wrong and you want to say no or stop yet, you keep on strongling with your self to over come it. Please, the chances for that help whether open or secret to lead to something else is more than 90%.

I don't hope to be in a situation where my wife's ex becomes a potential or even the only available source of help. But what I am saying is that if it comes to that it should be discussed. I am not saying my wife can ask for help from her ex or any man in secrecy... That would be inappropriate na... I hope you understand my stand... But it okay to disagree though.

What qualifies a person as a “Relationship Expert”?? Is there a degree or something, I understand a “Psychologist”, however, is there a special training to become a “Relationship Expert”?? This is is why we need to be careful on whom we get advice from! For Sandra a supposed “relationship expert” to be this myopic is appalling! Life isn’t just black or white, this is why it is dangerous to generalize things because situations are different - a “relationship expert” should understand this!! Ironic how the “social commentator ” (a Male) tackled this with more wisdom and open mindedness rather than being confined to a generic point of view!

@Sandra u r talking cos u found urself in the position where u can help urself and ur husband is a bit capable. Some women were doing with their husbands b4 now but circumstances of life throw them off balance if the wife or even the man himself ask for sincere help from an ex just as innocent has been saying is never a sin or bad. Wen u r drowning anybody that helped u at that moment is a life saver.
