Is It Still Possible To Loot the Trial Chambers With No Gear?

In this video I test if raiding the Trial Chambers with no starting gear is still possible.

You could turn this into some sort of roquelike where you run through trial chamber after trial chamber and see how far you can make it.

Seems to me like the difficulty level is near perfect. If you’re resourceful and skillful, you can make it through the chambers even with nothing. However, I think that they should do something to make Spiders, Slimes, and other non-zombie melee enemies a bit more difficult because Zombies are definitely the most difficult melee mob since they can have armor and weapons. Also I’d change some room layouts. Seemed a bit too easy to wait out threats in a few cases.

The guy that does the trial chambers has tweeted about 2 new rooms coming after that the chamber is "done", "stair spikes" and "riddles in the dark"

Also I think that slimes, spiders, silverfish and cave spiders should spawn with permanent potion effects when trial omen is on, like have speed for the spiders, jump boost for slimes and strength for silverfish

This is honestly the best structure in the game

@@CatWithALime It has some of the best loot in the game and is the best looking structure with one of the coolest mobs guarding it. And if you clear it out you have a large open space underground where mobs can't spawn making it the best place for an underground base.

@@InvalidUser_ I'm not saying that the city is bad, the chambers are just better, the best loot you can get in ancient citys are enchanted golden apples, diamonds pants and books

Do you think there is any chance this could end up screwing over early game progression?

It's pretty difficult to find and a normal player isn't gonna beat one without diamond and iron gear so I don't think so

I feel like it's a perfect structure in the sense that, if you find one early game, then you can loot it if you're good enough, or just avoid it entirely.

I don't usually think about the droppers as being lootable. I also didn't really need the items they contain.
