Sadia i am living here from many years the rents are sky rocketed , electricity bills too . the more you earn the more taxes you pay the average person has no disposable income . Only the highly qualified or rich people have extra income to enjoy their life .

Bro I recommend you to do some research before moving to UK because nowadays NHS is crumbling and doctors are always on strike because of low wages and skyrocket inflation. You will regret your decision. Just Google about doctors strike in UK and you will get the whole picture clear. Currently Middle East is the best option for international doctors as more and more British and American doctors are moving to UAE and other gulf countries because of the stable economy and higher wages. Is depend on ur personal decision based on ur background in Pakistan, what type of life you want , you need to calculate all positive and negitves where you want to relocate abroad... How is ur life in Pakistan, ur rich /middle class/ average/poor.... What is ur financial status, having good govt job ? Good family/ relatives bondings, u prefer safety/money, work life balance, surviving skills specially if you are skilled in demanding Jobs abroad...so lot of factors.....

The important thing before moving to anywhere is whether you like their living style,their mindset,their culture etc. It is not only about taking alone,but giving back to the society. Most Asian's donot integrate well in West and hence feel live like an outsider throughout their life. I've seen migrant people living in UK with worse mindset because they only moved to get economic benefits, but donot like to contribute to the society. So please consider moving to UK only if you accept this culture positively, otherwise move to a country where you feel comfortable culturally.

Nothing is going to change till the society changes its tribal attitude of voting for power and not for those who work for social development. There is nothing wrong in migration for a good life. But we need to respect the rules, laws and social values of the country we migrate to and contribute positively towards it and integrate. What I have noticed is that most Pakistanis move abroad, but stay mentally and socially backward and have very low literacy and social mobility rate. This needs to stop if we want to progress economically and socially. If one doesnot like Western culture and values,then do not migrate to West. Instead migrate to Asian or African countries with similar values.

Before going to uk just check the licence of university either it is recognised or not secondly complete your degree if it is bachelor then it gonna take 3 to 4 years plus accommodation , travelling and eating as well now imagine how much cost it gonna be. Literally you gonna spend like £30,000 easily on your bachelor degree excluding rent, eating in or out and travelling expense etc. Thirdly do not trust anybody especially your room mate or your colleagues because oftenly they complain about you to the immigration and never trust any Pakistani solicitors (advocates ) they just need money they gonna ruin your case. Get help from native English solicitors only, they gonna charge more but they gonna handle your case and gonna give you fruitful advices. If you wanna psw don't go to any Pakistani solicitor because they demands much more money and get you psw from such institutions which don't have licence so that's how you gonna ruin your future.

UK visa is one of world most expensive Visa, Like any country, one should do their homework, If you are highly qualified like IT Consultant, Drs and Engineers, then better look for other countries, there are lot of better options. In UK you have to spend 5 years with help of sponsor to qualify for PR. If you lose your job before that, UK give you 2 months to leave or find new sponsor, Whole visa process need to repeated for every job change along fees (for main applicant). On average a skilled worker (Family of 04, 02 kids, 02 Adults) would pay £23,000 to £26,000 in just Visa and ILR fees in 05 years. Also UK primary education and healthcare is third class - If one have any medical issue, then better stay away from UK Germany gives PR in 03 years and there is accelerated Passport option as well if one can reach a certain language level Canada and Australia gives to direct PR, so if even you lose Job you can drive a cab or do Odd job

I have lived my self in UK from 08 to 14, I my self could not find an employer sponsored job my self when my PSW came to an end but it all depends if have links & work hard for one to find, many people left UK back in 12,13,14 due to the massive changes in the immigration system, but I be honest UK is only good to live these days if you get job of around 55k to 65k as a starter, I did my under grads from UK, CAT & ACCA finalist too & have more than 12 years of classified accounting experience in London & Dubai but still struggling to find an employer sponsored job. Itna asan nahi bhai, but main negativity nahi phila raha, thumbs up to ur good work. You have to be consistent & persistent & you will find a job.
