I have to admit. When I first heard about Classic WOW season of discovery i did not care to much and gave the game a 2 month life span, followed by slow decline into oblivion. I was Wrong. Not only that season of discovery thrives after 4 months of being released but people are looking forward to each phase: exploring the new content, new items, reworked raids and so on. The numbers are not lying, it seems like the classic development team has found a secret formula to keep this ship moving. Where it would sail, it's uncertain but once again i find myself curios and excited about what the future of world of warcraft will be. This brings us back to old age philosophical question: Is to late to play Season of Discovery? or Is it a good time to return?
In this video will cover some of the important changes and what to look forward to phase3 in hopes that by the end of it you will be more excited and hyped for what the future brings.

I hope it’s unkillable week 1 besides by the GOOD/GREAT guilds. Make loot from the last boss actually rare to see.

That has nothing to do with mechanics, just elitist gammer mentality. Gnomer was doable with 8 ppl over half being fresh lvl 40's. Hopefully they don't make it any easier

@@lumber1000jack no it absolutely has to do with mechanics. People have to be working well together and pugs are rarely on mic and rarely work well together.

I had quite a few successful pugs..on my mage alt I did nothing but pugs in fact…probably starting around the 4th/5th lockouts. Only had 1 bad run that didn’t 6/6

@@RS-chino but the mechanics are so simple. Only thing requiring a little coordination is button pressing on the last boss and that is basically just closest person without a debuff

there are a couple buffs, liek TSA giving extra 75 RAP. Better itemizen epics and sets. So maybe, just maybe: Hunter will be Mid tier.

Is engineering a must have for casters in the phase 3 or prob will be another better wrist available without engineering?

Haven't really checked for all the items. Something good might be available. WSG exalted is another option. If you do the weekly quest in ashenvale, eventually they will come.

I hate that fists are again bis for all classes... As a shaman I had to fight warriors and hunters for those in gnomer, and now agaun even though they have good epic sword option. There being 0 epic maces or axes also is a bit scuffed...

Oh wow, you got to fight over the fist!? We've been clearing since first lockout, 2 raid groups not for at least a month. Not one single fist for 5 melee. Blizz absolutely fucked us by putting 25 items on each boss, making it highly likely your raid group will just never see an item

@@lumber1000jack I got my first fist on the 15th clear, before me 1 went to the warrior. Neither have both fist and the phase is over. With no similar alternative and the way enchancement dmg scales from offhand there is no possibility to parse 99

I couldnt find a guild in EU when SoD dropped. So i quit because its boring without people talking with and help each other discover stuff. But maybe i should get back in and start over.

@@zjeee Its either a guild full of try hard that only want perfection and everyone feels like they invented the wheel. Or a guild with a very afk GM not organizing anything. I wouldnt mind starting on a fresh server if only i could find the right guild where the people care more about fun but that isnt easy. Im not 16 anymore i have a social life and a business to run but some of those raiding guilds dont seem to care.

I like the fast phases. I always quit when the phases drew out too long. I've only been full bis about a week, and am barely starting to get bored and bam! Next phase is right around the corner instead of having to wait another 3 months feeling like a shmuck paying monthly for a game I'm bored with.

I don't like season of discovery. Id say LFR ruined me, I'd rather fail in a LFR pug than become an elitist to get into a trade chat or lfg chat pug. Once wotlk gets LFR and those GDKPs stop dominating the raid scene I'll probably play more. Right now I have no desire to either buy gear with a GDKP or spend 12 hours to get into a pug that falls apart on the first pull.
